  1. Thought I was the only one! It's my front centre speaker that is crackling (canton speakers) Does on all apps;radio,Bluetooth etc but on seems to do it when the speaker has warmed up so to speak, never does it when it's first turned on. Keep meaning to take it back to skoda as I'm sure the speaker is bust!
  2. The 230 has a totally different exhaust system to the 220. It's more like a sports exhaust; if you want to call it that. There are more pops and bangs on the shift changes and are noticeable on the outside of the car. Plenty of YouTube vids regarding this.
  3. Got a friend selling that exact same Forge DV from his MK3 vrs for fraction of the price if your looking for one.
  4. Awesome! About time Mods started getting posted about the Mk3 instead of the stupid questions that get asked lol. I'm running the Injen CAI at the moment, loving it so far.
  5. Normal on a mk2 vrs tdi. Certainly not a warranty trip!!
  6. I'd be worried if your coolant needed topping up on a new car!
  7. If your asking this question then I suggest you don't change the wheel yourself!
  8. Unfortunately Tommy is right. Unless it's got the stamp then warranty won't be void. I did all my oil changes on my previous cars, last one been the Audi S3 and like you said, you save a he'll of alot of money. Luckily I've got two free services with mine but as soon as it's out of warranty I'll be doing mine myself. On a separate note, my Mrs has a VRS Tdi mk2 and I've done the servicing on that since we got it. Very easy to do.
  9. I would imagine so since they both say 12v on.....
  10. Thanks for the reply. Yeah I've been using Bluetooth to for Spotify and works fine. But wouldn't mind using the USB port (if it could be done) so the graphics are on screen and also so it charges at the same time. Defo don't have Android Auto or Apple Play. Just used the Mrs standard USB cable for the IPHONE and the car picked it up straight away, steering wheels controls also worked too. I'm just puzzled that the car system will let me go into my phones files and play music from the phones media but not pick up spotify?? Surely I'm missing something....
  11. Quick question, I have a MY16 VRS and have tried to connect my Samsung Galaxy S6 to the car via the USB port. It connects fine allowing me to access files etc from the phone using the touch screen in the car. However when it comes to Spotify it won't play through the car but just plays through my phone. It'll play whatever music is on my phone but not Spotify. I have selected the option off my phone 'MIDI' which states is for audio files to be played but when I select that, the in car Touchscreen says 'Device not supported'. I have success with the IPhone 6s playing via USB and spotify and this was just using the normal iPhone cable not the MDI supplied by the dealer. Any suggestions??
  12. Got my meteor VRS roof wrapped gloss black. Defo would recommend it, looks awesome. Did want the spoiler doing but it couldn't be removed without removing the bonding adhesive it's stuck on with so I left it until warranty is up.
  13. It's listed under the mk2 octavia vrs on there website buddy..don't think it'll fit the new mk3s
  14. Have you got the code/serial number for it bud. It's not listed for the mk3 octavia vrs on awesome gti website but the other intake from VWR is.
