Sorry to be a pain, did you happen to see where the sensor was fitted? I've bought one to hopefully resolve the same issue but can't find the sensor location! Jack.

Evening all, My name's Jack, I'm 24 and I'm from Wingerworth, near Chesterfield. Engineering graduate with a degree in Mechhanical & Automotive Engineering, currently working at Toyota and have just bought my first house, so it's about time I bought a grown up car as well! Thought I'd join up as I've just bought myself a little Skoda Superb. My previous car, a Seat Ibiza TDI Sport, decided that its second gearbox in 6 months didn't fancy staying in one piece, and once again gave way, with the brass selecting fork (why would they do that?!) snapping and thus rendering the gearbox fubared. I have a rather unfortunate time with cars, with the Superb being my 11th... As you can see from the pictures above, it seems to be a relatively good specification. Electric windows, mirrors and seats, a solar-sunroof, full leather interior, tip-tronic auto box, cruise control, 6-CD changer, rear parking sensors, 2.5L V6 TDI, 118k miles, a strange storage system in the boot that opens up into a shopping organiser. Plenty of kit to keep me occupied! There's a few imperfections on the outside that'll get sorted eventually, but I'm in no rush, as long as it's mechanically sound, that'll be the priority. I think that the alloys aren't the originals. The eagle-eyed amongst you will've seen that the centre caps are Audi, I don't know whether these are standard alloys that a previous owner has changed the caps or whether they're just completely different, but they won't be getting changed for a while. Plans will be to go for an OEM+ approach. I've bought pressed plates, already fitted SMD number plate bulbs. All the internal lights will be getting changed to SMD, as will the sidelights which'll be transferred from my old Ibiza before it goes. I also like the look of the black and chrome badges rather than the green, think it'd suit against the red. If anyone can advise on the sizes and fitment of them, it'd be much appreciated.
