can get my electric windows working by removing a fuse and replacing it but when i close the door and lock it then open it again there dead .have to pull the fuse again. is it the door lock that is the problem telling the windows to lock for security but somehow its not telling them to actvate them again when you open the car .

Fabia Relays electric windows?
deanmarshall73 replied to blue4you's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
i had a problem with my front windows when i bought my fabia mk1 . no windows working . checked switches power to motor and fuses . all ok .then i noticed when i removed one of the fuses for 30 secs then replaced it they would start working . i spliced the wiring before the fuse box and was goin to use a separate switch . but wat i found out eventully was because my rear doors were leaking water in to the car it was causing havoc with the electrics . so before you go changing switches motors and comfort control mods check for wet carpets in the back . i checked every wire in the drivers door loom for continuity. and they were fine . i found that when it rained really heavy the next day my windows didnt work -
i did mine and used ct1 its about £8 pound a tube. we use it for sealing shed windows when its ****ing down
