  1. Sales - Excellent After sales service - Terrible. Very Patronising. Unwilling to help. Take your car somewhere else.:thumbdwn: Click here for a tale http://www.briskoda.net/forums/roomster/roomster-trash/84262/
  2. I will by no means mention any names as I'm not sure how far this will go. The sales troops at Silbury are good. The guy we bought the Roomster from was exceptional. Gave us a good trade in value for our Colt and was very helpful and friendly. Benfiled said they have had quite a few people who will buy from Silbury and take them to Benfield for service. Just what I hear you know so not confirmed. I'm also interested in what Roomster owners think of the quality of the interior compared with the old Fabia. The new Golf's interior , well I have three friends who have a new Golf and they are not impressed by it compared with the previous model.
  3. Yeah the Benfield Crew seemed to be quite helpful and did not have a good thing to say about the Cramlington lot. (Rivalry?) Ive heard by a few people that garages are quick to say its a characteristic of the car! I think not. Its just so very disappointing :( MAYBE THE TITLE 'ROOMSTER TRASH' IS A BIT HARSH,,, sorry.
  4. Can I firstly say that if anyone in here has a Roomster then great, they are a good practical car. However, We bought a White 3 from a garage in Cramlington, Northumberland. We have had the clunk noise when changing gear, which this dealer failed to recognise, we took it to another well known dealer in Newcastle and they straightaway found a loose Hydraulic pipe which needed placing back into its little clip. Job Done. But we have had a bad pull to the left ever since we bought it and when braking. Took it back to the dealer , my wife was honest to say she gently reversed up a kerb whilst parking and the dealer in Cramlington imediately jumped on my wifes honesty and blamed the pull to th eleft on my wifes parking! Right so if anyone reverses up a kerb be warned as your tracking may well be badly affected. They said they would have to take it to an Audi Body shop for a four wheel alignment which cost us
  5. U reckon he may be on his holidays? I m wanting a remap, av 350 quid in ma underpants burning a hole through!
  6. Does anyone know the best way to get a hold of Celtic Tuning? Av been trying for days but no answer and no reply to any emails? Any thoughts? Kel
  7. I can't see why the hell not though. I see plenty of Fabia Estates around! And everyone likes that extra poke! My GT is quick enough with 150 horses but 210 sounds the boy! I think not avin a Fabia VRS estate was a mistake:thumbdwn: but who am I too argue with Skoda!! How come you went for an Ibiza then? Kel
  8. Not sure why alfa romeo have produced such beautiful unreliable crap of old? Money? Since fiat have taken them by the hand though they are just as good as owt else, Speaking from experience and half my family have them, all different makes, and not one of them have had issues and anyhow you get a 3 yr warranty with them and second hand ones come with a standard one year aswell so your quite well looked after. Nobody answered my question about a Fabia VRS estate though? any thoughts? Kel
  9. Hi Guys Im new to this blog. I own an alfa GT JTD. It is probably the most beautiful looking car on the roads at the moment>> Whilst I can totally appreciate the views on quality mainly because alfa's of old used to rust from the inside out even in the showroom! But since they are owned by FIAT these days and paired up with Maserati the quality is just as good as any VW FORD or Vauxhall. My dealer has been superb so far, alfa dealers are really getting their act together. Of course every new car can develop a snag list which was sorted out swiftly. Interior is such a nice place to be with hand stitched leather and dials straight out of a Ferrai 575. But you get the jist. I would fully recomend one. I have had mine for nearly a year along with 16,000 miles two trips to the South of France with WIFE and 2 children, swallowed up all the luggage! I feel I can post on here because my previous car , which I traded in for the alfa, was a Fabia Tdi comfort, and I can tell you it was a fantastic car. I did 147, 000 in it and I never had to lift the bonnet once! Except for the washer bottle! Original clutch too. Excellent car. ALfa gave
