Hi all, I'm guessing this has been done and I bet there is a thread somewhere but I couldn't see it. I was wondering if it was possible to change the head unit in my car for one from a newer model so I could keep the OEM feel and reversing sensors ect but allow me to use satnav, bluetooth and DAB. Kind regards, Ryan

Hi all, I'm going to be fitting a front mount and require the bayonet adapters for the ASZ EGR and the standard turbo. I have found a link to the couplings but i'm unsure which size to buy. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-AUDI-SEAT-SKODA-TDI-FSiT-ALLOY-BAYONET-BOOST-HOSE-INTERCOOLER-HOSE-COUPLER-/171266960379?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&var=&hash=item27e04e6bfb The hardpipes i'm fitting are the 57mm darkside ones. Cheers.

What is required to fit 5.25 speakers into the fabia doors, all I can find when searching are people fitting 6.5 speakers. I have focal "5VRS" Speakers to fit which are shallow mount 5.25 speakers just under 50mm im sure. Ryan

Okay so what happens is around every 2 weeks my power steering will cut out (usually on roundabouts) and will not work until the car comes to a stop. As soon as I stop it works fine again with no problems. The fault code I get is: -00566 -Electrohydraulic steering, Operating no feasible -Faulty signal -Intermitant I am thinking Angle sensor, but has anyone else had this problem? I have checked Battery condition I have Performed an alternator test I have checked and topped up PAS fluid Cheers Ryan

De-cat on standard map, anyone had problems?
TehMarchant replied to TehMarchant's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
I think it does feel a bit faster now, but it could all the psychological. Hoping for a mufflerectomy soon. Then it'll sound like a jet fighter. -

Fabia VRS Hard pipe intake for S2000 filter
TehMarchant replied to TehMarchant's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
Nothing? -
Hi guys, so after having my second S2000 filter cracking on the MAF sensor I am looking to change to a hard pipe with silicone fittings to allow for a little more flex. What is needed for this, is it needed to be internal or external 80mm hard pipe with silicone fittings? and what size adapter to go from the MAF to over the top of the S2000 filter? Thanks, Ryan EDIT: Just looked in my engine bay and hard pipe seems unlikely with the battery box, So I am thinking about angled silicone pipe, to the MAF then to a silicone adapter to fit the S2000. Any ideas on sizes/angles required? Ryan

So I am currently running my fabia on Quantum longlife 3 which is 5w30. I was wondering if I should change up to Truck oil, specially fuchs Titan cargo maxx which is 10w40 Car is currently on 86,000 and I drop the oil every 5,000 due to getting oil easily.. I know the Truck oil is built stronger so maybe it would offer better protection. Thoughts? Ryan
