  1. Finally here it is for everyone in doubt , enjoy Pin 5 - automatic aerial - +12v output from the radio, maximum 150mA, to drive an automatic or electronic aerial. From 1985 onwards this is a white wire in the radio harness - different colours were used on earlier cars; check the colour of the wire in the small single pole connector on the radio aerial. If present it MUST be connected, even if the aerial is not automatic.
  2. Hi all, Need help. I got a new Calearo shark fin antenna to replace on my Fabia. The new antenna has a separate 12V wire (internal amplifier I guess) which has to be connected to the radio. I installed a separate wire from the antenna hose on the roof to the radio connector site but still in doubt where to get the 12V from the connector. Should it be taken from the radio ? I guess the voltage for the antenna should go on/off as the radio is switched on/off (no permanent supply ?) Find attached the diagram on my Symphony CD player.
  3. Hi all Need some help. I've got a 1.2 HTP, classic Fabia 2003. It has central lock and need to upgrade to remote central lock. I've got a set of locks and remote controlers as shown in the pics (Attached) as well as the Central comfort unit 1. 6Q0 959 433 D 003 (CCU for vehicles with manually operated windows) Anyone knows if I need any other hardware (wire harness) ? relays? What is the procedure now in order to make it works with the new keys and remote controllers? Are all of the connectors inside the car already there ? do I need just to plug the CCU and get it programmed with the new keys with VAG-COM? Is there any hints? Does anyone got any schemes, pics, any details on this?? thanks a lot.
  4. Many Thanks for the info... My radio does not have the GALA function you are talking about, so the radio ISO connector could not be the source of this signal. My Fabia is 1.2 HTP (with ABS)... Is there anywhere else excluding the radio connector from where I can get the speedometer signal? Thanks S.
  5. Hi All, Does anyone knows how to recognise the speedometer signal wire on my Fabia'03 petrol? I need to mount a wire of the Meta alarm system to enable the function of automatic comfort doors locking when the vehicle is on move. Where should I look for it? What colour is the signal wire? any pics available? Thanks a lot Samy
  6. Hi all I've heared that shark fin 1K0 035 507 J is constructed for GSM signal, so it throttle the fm/am reception (?) could that be true ??
  7. Hi All, I need some help with a shark fin antenna 1k0 035 507 J ...Could anyone please tell if this antenna will fit on my Fabia MK 2003 as a replacement to the existing factory whip antenna? What modifications are needed on the roof chassis(if any ) any connectors, fitting on the roof ? thanks a lot. Samy
  8. Hi all Does anyone knows which gear oil to use for my fabia 1.2 47kw. Gear code is GSB 9102 /5 speed manual. I have Statoil Gearway PS45 oil 75W90 (Semi synthetic) which is conforming to API GL-4/GL-5 ! is that appropriate oil? or should it be fully synthetic? Is it going to cause any damage if used? thanks a lot...

  10. Thanks, any idea how are the four rear speakers connected together (the rear doors tweeters with the rear dashboard ones)??
  11. Hi All does anyone have a wiring diagram of the speakers in Fabia (both rear and front 8 pcs). I need to add 4 rear speakers and wondering how to connect them to the head unit. The ISO connector of the Symphony has 8 speaker pins (4 left side and 4 right side). How to connect the rear speakers together ? (should it be + and +; - and - for each side ?). Thanks
  12. Hi it should be attached to the sticker inside the radio manual (if you have it). It is always a 4 digit number.
