  1. So rather embarrassingly I most likely believe I was being a bit thick here! I put the remainder of my 10L container in and it has now reset so can't see if it was saying gallons now but that is the most logical explanation. Good old case of user error! Thanks all
  2. Thank you. I will keep adding and see if that resets it then. Unsure why it came up with such a low maximum volume then seeing as it says 800 miles to go.
  3. Hi all, I've had a search through and can't find the fix - thought I would see if anyone had similar issues? AdBlue warning came on, brought a 10L container to fill it up. It was saying on the Maxidot min 1L, max 2.5L. I put 2.5L in yesterday, did the 30 second ignition trick and took it for a drive after, but still pings up the same warning. Today I have put another 2.5L in and done the same and it is still pinging up. Do you think I should just keep filling it up, despite the fact it is past the recommended amount needed? First time using AdBlue and unsure if I can do any damage with it! Thanks in advance
  4. I personally find it has pros and cons. I only ever use in on motorways and find that most of the time I preferred normal cruise control. I find that because I have it set to a safe distance, I hang back too much that people cut into the gap in front of me, thus making the car brake again and I just fall back in line. On the whole though it works quite well. Few weeks back driving on a dual carriage way, the car in front of me decided to stop in lane 1 to let a car join from the slip road, stopping rather abprutly from 60 to almost a standstill. Because I had anticipated the car joining, I was looking in my right mirror to lane change, before I knew it I was rapidly approaching a now stationary car in front. In that split second I was moving my foot to the brake pedal, ACC had already began an emergency stop. Crash avoided, me rather embarrassed and annoyed, but thumbs up for ACC. Wouldn’t rely on it 100% of the time, but nice safety feature.
  5. No offence caused... I’m rather embarrassed now.. I am indeed in the wrong button pressing club and had been trying the auto hold button. Lesson learnt, read the manual! Thank you very much!
  6. So I am running a S3 Sportline MY17.. the start stop button on my centre console is doing nothing. If it is illuminated orange (which I believe is on), start stop kicks in. If it’s turned off and non illuminated, start stop still kicks in. I just can’t seem to turn it off at all. i don’t mind start stop, however find it overly sensitive in the S3 sometimes, kicking in from about 3mph and below which isn’t handy in stop crawling trafffic and parking. I don’t want to code and disable it completely. Just wondered if anyone else’s has this issue?
  7. Hi all, So update, while I wait to find someone who can code them off, I have gone for some eBay 5000k H8 bulbs for £11. Much better than halogen originals although only niggle is visible blue bulb but no biggy. Will try and get a photo at dark too.
  8. Thank you for the photos and links! LED looks really smart. Still would prefer them not to do it at all but at least can improve the look.
  9. Also, can anyone confirm if the S3 cornering fogs also come on together when reversing?
  10. This is my plan B. Been looking at some like Osram and Philips. Do you have any pics of the match to the xenon please?
  11. Hi all, Just brought a 2017 Superb III Sportline Estate which I collect Monday. Very happy with it but have one thing I want to change. Personal preference, but I can’t stand the cornering fog lights that come on! Think it just looks naff compared to the lovely LED/xenon lights. I’ve asked the dealer if they can programme them to disable it but they are unsure if they can/are allowed to do it. I’ve had a search online but can’t seem to find if it can be disabled or not - only lots of posts on activating it via VCDS for the Octavia. Does anyone on here have any suggestions or experience with this as to whether they can easily be switched off or if it involves VCDS. Other ideas/suggestions were; - remove the front fog fuse or bulbs themselves (although wonder if this will ping up an error) Thanks in advance! Will
  12. Thanks a lot! Really appreciate your comments. Yes I like it, easy to apply and very durable. To be honest, I have lapsed in how often I detail the car now but urgently need to do a proper winter prep!
  13. Thanks a lot! Yes I do - I currently use Poorboys Wheel Sealant and that was what was applied in the photos of the first wash.
  14. Moving forward in the future it may transpire that EE take the lead for performance. The new contract for the emergency service network will be with them as opposed to the current Airwaves network so therefore theoretically will improve/be stronger nationally - especially in the event of a large scale incident. How much it will affect the average consumer though, I don't know. What they have actually informed those within the emergency services of the impact it will have is minimal too!
  15. Toffee onions haha made me giggle quite a bit! I normally plunge the house into darkness and set the cctv up on the iPad, in case any master bakers turn up with their eggs and flour.
