The dropping of the stomach is the worst part of it, never had an accident (thank goodness) but I've had that feeling of inevitability a couple of times (once on sheet ice, idiots stopped in road watching cars slide back down a hill, I managed to avoid them and a wall... somehow)
-
Seen some good ones since I got my dashcam (jag xj losing it on a roundabout, generic 5 series morons weaving through traffic), where do you stand in dropping footage of idiots with the police? Quality is 1080p so you can see enough detail.

Gave my brother a lift putting an a3 back together after camshaft change, wasn't that bad a job. We were struggling for a torque wrench that did low enough nm though

How to: Fit Armrest With Correct Brackets
FurbyJC replied to hutchysrs50's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
Great guide! Did mine this morning, used a Stanley knife to cut the cup holder out, was easier than I thought it would be too. -
I looked at them when the weather was cold, I hate scraping and would rather sit there with the heated seat on and a heated windscreen than get out. If I get a broken windscreen (has happened before (baseball bat carrying chav)) I'll be buying one. Very reasonable on price too at £250, and I'm sure you could just use the rear heated screen button via a relay.

Loving this build! Would a heated windscreen be out of the question?

Do you have a part number for that cup holder? I've bought one in the past and it wasn't right, was too square on the opposite side of the hinge. Had a pop out next to radio one on the last Fabia, what a waste of time...

Looks good, always liked the lemon yellow fabia. Had one from new (06) until last year when I got ran in to on a roundabout and it was written off. Fit my headlights this afternoon, I'm impressed so far.

I'm hoping I don't have any issues with the angle of the projector on the set I'm making at the moment. I've also added a relay so that I use halogen high beam whilst the dipped beam is off and bi-xenon when the dipped beam is on. It's only 3 wires and a bit of solder. Was the original projector you had in a 3" one?

I'm just looking at which clear coat will do the best job, may as well do that whilst the lenses are off. The lacquer on the set I have is cracked on the bottom half of the lens
-
Mine are alright, bracket that sits behind bumper on drivers side has been removed (doesn't look broken). Lenses could do with a polish. Managed to do both projectors yesterday, lenses came off fairly easy after 7mins at 75 degrees in the oven.

I snapped a set up for £40.

Sorry fellas! Missed it, was a little worse for wear after a Christmas do in leeds.

I had a whiteline on my old Fabia, only saw oversteer once on a wet roundabout. Fitted to new Fabia and h&r springs and dampers, not had any... Yet.
