Mk2 Pre-FL Elegance Wheel fitment
0ctavist replied to MereKat's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
regular green and new size in yellow -
Normally the part number is printed somewhere at the part... Example : 1K0 145 838 N is the partnumber ( NOT YOURS, only example !!)
-
...not a Fake Scout, only Scout tire size at a normal Octavia PreFL because I didn´t like the "deeper" look of the silver sills in the middle while front and rear is black... so I make my sills black like the front and rear and mounted mud flpas

1.9 PD Engine Noise Question
0ctavist replied to CombatWombat's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
Okay, cheapest way ..a new turbo...better than all the evtl. broken bursted stuff pieces through the hole engine. But you'ved checked the turbo spindle and the shovels and they looked correct. So, up to your decision. -
1.9 PD Engine Noise Question
0ctavist replied to CombatWombat's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
Same engine, the PumpeDuese sometimes change their noise a bit...no time to worry as long as the oil is okay. Did you change the timing belt, waterpump, spanners ? Sure, that it is no waterpump whining? After 8 years did you ever change the belt ? Next time try to add a glass of smokefree or lowsmoke, semi synthetic 2 stroke oil into the diesel tank before filling up, then it´s running smoother and it will clean and grease the injector nozzles -
Yes...first spray with antirust and later with underbody protection ....and then: use this for the car or that for your car jack
-
YES labman 1001 ..... before: after

...as far as I know, the only chance is via VCDS to reduce the EGR function to a minimum. A total delete is not possible, neither mechanically with plate nor via software.

@ TheClient " OP post was about a coolant (radiator, water pump, thermostat etc. circuits) leak though?" Arrgghhh, sorry, blonde moment
-
Did you make an AC-service and they add coloured leak fluid into your system? Then it´s easy to find the leak What´s about the coolant pressure switch, inside down left near the compressor ?

Your condenser should look like mine!? Common fault, the white cab is leaking or the bottom of the condenser is rotten and leaking. See my thread:

Idiot has scartched my car
0ctavist replied to LordRaiden84's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
I can understand your anger. Very often that happens here in SouthWest of France, our parking lots are marked too small and ignorant people opens the door bump into yours...and another spot or they scratch your side with their coat zipper. First rule here: Never park beside an older Renault Clio or Twingo. These little cars have enormous long doors! Since I no longer park close to the building, a little further away, it does not happen often. Thank goodness all the spots were only in the clear coat so far. -
Octy Mk 2 won't run/ start. Can you help please?
0ctavist replied to xaviHB's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
the first pic.......no communication with key....are you sure, the battery in the key is okay? Try your second key for starting! Look into the car´s manual how to reset/program the key for the car.... Sorry about my technical english...it´s not my mothers tongue
