  1. I am looking to buy a Dash Cam so useful posts, thank you. Some Dash Cams will come on automatically if someone hits the car when parked, recording the car that hit you hopefully. If wired into vehicle ignition and ignition switched off then this probably would not be the case.
  2. Had same problem with back wiper. First time Skoda dealer said could find nothing wrong wiper worked fine. It continued to stop sometimes and they replaced under warranty, no problem. Skoda Yeti 2.0TDI DSG 4x4 January 2016 65 plate
  3. Ive got a Yeti with a Panoramic Sunroof, don't notice much difference in headroom. Don't think you will have a problem. Im 6ft. Yeti L&K 2.0 DSG diesel 4x4.
  4. I took 2-3 year old Yeti in 2015 with rust spots on doors and John Clark repainted 3 doors without any argument. Disappointed with Skoda in rust being there but service and treatment OK.

  5. Yes. The dealer said he had to wait for the OK from Skoda.
  6. My 2012 Yeti had rust spots on the doors and dealer repainted 3 doors twice FOC and without any argument. The car was 2 and 3 years old at the time of painting.
  7. My last 2011 Yeti Greenline Elegance with steering wheel controls and voice control on the Bolero radio system. I have just got a new 2015 Yeti Outdoor SEL which has no steering wheel controls or voice control. I assumed (wrongly) that seeming to be the replacement for the Elegance it would have at least the same features as the last car. As I have a lot of numbers on the phone this is a big inconvenience to me not having this. In fact I would not have bought the car if I had realised this. I think Skoda have been a bit misleading in this case and feel let down by them.
  8. I had 3 punctures in my last Yeti out of working hours. The tyre weld and the AA could not fix them. The AA loaded the car onto a lorry and took us to our destination 60-100 miles. The next day they came back and took the car by lorry to a Kwik Fit dealer who replaced the tyre. In other words it took a day and a half to get the vehicle roadworthy again. If I had a spare we would have been mobile in less than an hour. Also our local tyre dealer says thay have to spend a bit of time cleaning the rim after the tyre weld has been used. How long before they start charging for this. My new Yeti has a spare tyre. My advice is carry a spare and a jack.
