Took side pannel off no dramas thanks to your input. Same detail on my one, the cable was wrapped around the mechanism. Crimped off the right hand side of the cabel to prevent the window dropping down so at least the car is now secure. Think i will need a proffesional to re do the cable. Like you said it is very difficult so get to.
