Race Blue, red stitching, spare wheel. Nothing other than that, as it seems pretty well spec'ed anyway (bearing in mind I am coming from an A3 and a Focus!)

Hi, placed my order on Saturday, and have today been told that it would be with me at the start of March. They manage to tag one that was already in build, assuming that I wanted red stitching (which I did). I have been told today that if I wanted to add SmartLink, it would be a 16 week lead time... I didn't bother...

Apologies if this has been answered already, but I placed an order for 2016 vRS estate on Saturday, hoping that it would work with CarPlay (as advertised on Apple's website for 2016 models.) Am I correct in thinking that I need to get my dealer to add 'Smartlink' as an option on the build, and that the set-up doesn't support CarPlay? I am already very confused and my car won't even be with me until March! Paul

Hi Tim, I placed an order for a Race Blue Manual vRS estate on Saturday - The dealer didn't have the latest information re: Apple CarPlay. I can see that you ordered 'SmartLink' - Is that required for CarPlay? I can see that Apple's website now states that the MY16 Octavia is CarPlay ready. I wonder if that means 'after buying an option'? Any advice? Paul

Hi All, Took the plunge and ordered a Race Blue VRS estate on Saturday. Quoted delivery of March 2016... Can't wait. Will it have CarPlay?! Nobody seems to know for sure!
