  1. I had similar experience where a big name garage send me a £120 video of the check they did and "will we just go ahead and replace the...".Me: "Eh, no!". 🙂 My rear door (Superb Elegance) I just discovered yesterday doesn't lock with the fob. Who goes around checking? It might have been that way since `i bought it. However, maybe it coincided with the central lock button not illuminating and the passenger door not unlocking when I push the button. I really don't want to spend diagnosis money plus £200-300 on a lock repair.
  2. Sounds identical to my issue. Try to pull away and the brake sticks on. At first Iwas blaming clumsy footwork and thought I was touching brake and accelerator at the same time. I am not sure about the A button ans switching on the Park button. Never had problems until a couple of weeks ago and I've had it for almost a year. I am now wary when I go to pull out into traffic but it releaes fully when it does. Wish I could recall if it was an issue before I got new tyres in Costco last week. I think they crushed a rear brake cable in my Octavia previously somehow but that time I barely made it out of the carpark.
