  1. Just measured my discs , TSI estate which I got a month ago. It's got the 340mm discs on
  2. Ok this isn't just the Octavia it's all new Vag cars. For anyone who has owned or still owns a older Vag car the sodding key is around the wrong way
  3. Only the black pack with the wheels. I wanted the smart link but even the dealer said it wasn't worth having, plus I can get that any time if I really want it. None of the other options were that important to me. Part of me wishes I had got the panoramic roof but that was an expensive upgrade and a wanted to keep my repayments sensible. I'm very happy with it though.
  4. I'm in the south, I personally think it's just pot luck
  5. Got to the dealership and they had put it in show room which was a nice touch. Can't wait to have a proper play tomorrow after work
  6. So today is the day, picking my VRS up later today. Exact dates are .... Ordered on the 18th Jan , landed at the dealer on the 7th of March and pick up today. Can't wait
  7. What a awesome car. Just out of interest, do you use this as your daily driver? Have you come up against any problems? 400+bhp is strong power on standard internals, I wonder what the reliability would be like over a long time, obviously that all depends on how it's driven but all I can think is that forged internals would make this a much safer car?
  8. It looks like I've done pretty well with my Octavia, 8 weeks and was quoted 12. Went and signed all the paperwork today and got to see the car, picking it up on Thursday.
  9. I may have been a little premature saying it was ready today, the dealer rang the Mrs and left a msg, she then called me saying that the car was ready. So I get all excited and call the dealer to find out that the car arrived at the dealership today and will be ready to collect on Friday. But it's still a lot sooner than I thought. I wasn't given a build date by the dealer, I just had the email from skoda saying it was going into the factory, that was on the 9th of February so that would be week 7.
  10. Good times, my candy White VRS TSI estate is ready to pick up from the dealer. Ordered on the 18th of January, I was expecting another few weeks to wait.
  11. I've just this minute spoke to my dealer, my VRS is at a uk port. He said it's normally around 7 days from the time it gets to port to the dealership but it is a busy time so could be a bit longer. Exciting times
  12. Just out of interest, have you had this email? " Today is an exciting day, because our technicians are starting work on your new Octavia. In a couple of weeks it will have been assembled in one of our state-of-the-art factories, and we'll be spraying it in your chosen Candy White before carefully adding the finishing touches. Then, once we've carried out a series of safety checks, it'll begin it's journey to the UK." As I ordered my VRS estate around the same time as you ordered yours. But I got this email on the 9th of Feb which is week 6 or 7 I think. Cheers stu
  13. I ordered my VRS estate on the 18th of Jan , I had a email on the 9th of Feb saying they are starting to build it. I've had no official date on arrival yet.
