I've got a number of a guy selling some in Rotherham if you want it pal? I've bought some goodies for the car. So much for not really doing anything to it! Got a seat sport style in cooler and pipe work, a set of coil overs that was only on the guys car 6 months and I bought some 312mm brakes the other week. So the pile of parts is gathering. Ordered some injector seals and bolts from dark side ready for when the injectors are swapped. I hope to god this fixes the running issue as it's getting worse day by day. Exhaust is on. Looks and sounds much better. Gave the car a quick wash today. I really need some decent wheel cleaner. Want to keep these wheels mint but there's bits of brake dust that isn't budging. Going to get some autobrite purple rain and give that a try. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Exhaust is going on tomorrow and the injectors I've bought should be getting tested this week. So if all us well with them they'll go in at some poin, fingers crossed it'll fix the misfire. Then I can go about changing the alloy pipes at the back or the engine. Bloody cars!

Cheers man. Got them off a guy on here. He had they powder coated and some decent tyres on them. I think they're he best wheels for Fabia. Suit it really well. I just need to keep on top of cleaning them now!

This is my first German motor and so fat so good. I've been had the car for a month or two now, it's got its niggles but it's doing the job. Before this I was driving a Honda civic with a engine swap. Which I'm currently breaking. The reason for this car was I wanted something that looked good, was fast, good on fuel and cheep. This ticked all those boxes for me. I've not done much to it and won't be really. I've put some vrs spiders on got another interior so I can make a good clean set as mine are really dirty! I've had the problem with my fabia vrs since I bought it. It misfires when idling. It does improve slightly when the car is warm but it's still there. My mate plugged the car into his vcds and these are the injector numbers not sure if these are right or not? The car seems to drive fine it's just on idle where I get the problem. Changed my glow plugs today and noticed the wires for the glow plugs are in a bad state. All the coating is cracked and filling apart. Can this be swapped out like the injector loom? Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Well I've changed the injector loom and it's still misfiring. It does it worse when it's cold but still does it when it's warm just not as bad. What would be the next port of call? Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

I want to do this mod on my vrs. How easy is it to fit and what did the parts set you back?

I think it has been neglected for a bit. But I'll try tidy it up providing it doesn't become a money pit! Plugged it into vag com and it's got a misfire on cylinder two. Thinking of changing the injector loom, fingers crossed that will cure it. Serviced the car today and removed the egr.

Another problem now. This morning, started the car it fired then cut out. Started it again then de iced the it whilst it was running. Then i set off to work and it big down stright away and dies. Now it won't start, it did try fire once or twice but that was it. It sounds fuel related to me, it's got about 1/4 of a tank of v power diesel. I'm servicing the car this weekend and putting that new temp sensor on. Think I've bought a lemon!

Had this problem since I got the car last week. Evertime I start the car its misfiring and the engines rocking quite badly. If I hold the revs just over 1k it doesn't seem to do it. But once it's warm its fine. Last night it did cut out on me. Wouldn't start for a bit, would only turn over. After about 5 mins it started and seemed fine once it was warm. I've had it plugged into a code reader and there's no fault codes and no pending codes. Considering how bad it is I'm supprised it's not throwing a code. Any ideas guys? Dan

Hey! I've been and viewed a Fabia vrs and will be collecting it this week. Can't wait to go for drive! Will post some pictures up once I've got it. At the minute I drive a 2001 Honda Civic Coupe that's had a engine swap, It's got the K20a2 from a civic type r under the bonnet. I love the car but using it daily is driving me mad! Solid mounts, up rated bushes ect... not the most comfortable ha, but it does put a smile on my face! My plan is to break the civic this year, keep some parts ready for when I can afford a Teg 'DC5'. I won't be doing much to the vrs, wouldnt mind fitting the cruise control and arm rest then just general maintenance and keeping it clean and tidy. Dan
