Hello Lads, Many members are struggling with their DSG going in Neutral when they release the gas pedal and engage the “coasting function”. Especially with the facelifted cars with no drive mode selection option. You can disable the coasting function with VCDS, OBD11, VCP, ODIS E following those steps: Front hood open/popped, Module 19 - Gateway>Long Coding>FPA Funktion Freilauf DefaultON>Not Active Thats all. Enjoy your normal transmission behaviour. 😉

Nope. Car is clear of error codes. There is only one visible effect, when you go to Car menu and you press the Start-Stop system status icon it shows the massage "System is not available".

Hello guys, Today after fiddling a little bit with my 2016 Seat Ibiza TDI DSG I was able to SUCCESSFULLY and PERMANENTLY disable Start-Stop system. Note: This solutions is not the vwwatercooled.com temperature or voltage method!!! Despite their effectiveness, I don't want to risk my car electronics with such "hacks". Note 2: This is tried on 2016 Seat Ibiza, but the Skoda Fabia/Octavia and other VAG's should be virtually the same. Note 3: Please carry out any modifications and coding AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!. I will not be held responsible for any damage of the vehicle and I am just giving you the steps. The tools needed: VCDS Release 16.8.3 or higher version + compatible OBD II CAN Enabled cable. (You can buy them @Ross-Tech) The steps to disabling start-stop system: 1. Enter 19-CAN Gateway 2. Click on Coding-07 3. Click on Long Coding Helper 4. Change Byte 3, Bit 2-3 (Drop down menu) from 04 Start/Stop System with Recuperation installed [PR-7L6] to 08 Start/Stop System NOT installed [PR-7L3] 5.Change Byte 4, Bit 0 to 0 6.Change Byte 15, Bit 0 to 0 7. Click on Exit - top left hand corner 8. Click on Do it! Voila you are done! I would be really happy if you can report your success stories with Fabia, Octavia and other last gen VAG cars. Also I would be happy to post it to other forums, by citing my nick as a credit @kickdown Any questions I am on site! :)

Guys some good news from Switzerland! At the Geneva Motor Show the local dealer told me that, from Week 22 / 2016 - Rear View Camera will be an option for Fabia III. Expected price 200-250 Euro. Yes it is possible. You just have to know to handle VCDS, some basic technical knowledge of cars and tech terms + really good German. If you have all the above you will manage it by yourself, if not just ask the local Guru and be the first to do the retrofit.Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

It is a single piece grill with only lower part. The hardest part is to remove the grill from the bumper. I have unbolted the top four screws which are visible and after that I am stuck. Guys, Yesterday I've picked up this beauty - Fabia 1.4 TDI 90 hp + DSG7. Do you have any idea how to remove the front grill? I want to put black foil on it. I've unscrewed the top 4 nuts and after that I am stuck. Is there an easy way or it is pain in the ***? More info: It has the local trim level "Edition" - Sports Seats + Heating, Tinted Windows, Bolero Radio, PDC, Auto Headlights + Wipers, Two colour concept + black wheels, KESSY, LEDs, etc. Paid 13500 GBP at today's exchange rate
