The residuals for the Vrs and i30n are very similar, if not better for the i30n. Both cars around £25000. After 4 years and 5000miles per year both have a gfv of around £9300. 10000 miles £8700 for both. 3 years and 5000 i30n : £11434 VRS : £10747 I30n is a cracking car, very tempted to swap my vrs for one.

Might just bite the bullet while there is 20% off. I did notice that small gap. I could remove some of the tape to allow it to sit further back.

I’ve just fitted the Skoda led number plate lights and used obdeleven to correct the error. I used the apps feature, 10 credits and it worked perfectly.

My advice would be not to buy the cheap ones as i don’t think they have the location pins on the back. They are 80mm iirc. If I was going to do this again I would buy the superskoda ones and paint the chrome parts black magic. Or skoda tuning have just started doing these http://www.skoda-tuning.com/de/product_info.php?info=p1424_skoda-emblem.html I de-badged the rear myself using fishing line and some tar remover. I don’t think the superskoda montecarlo ones would come apart, I think the are sprayed assembled so would be stuck together.

Could someone check there track rod ends for me to see if they both look the same and not different like mine. Thanks in advance.

My VRS is just over a year old 11k miles. Never curbed or hit a large pothole. But car has just started to pull to the left and steering wheel is no longer central when driving in a straight line. Had a quick look at the track rod ends and the passager side rubber is bulging and stretched, where as the drivers sids looks normal. Will try and get some pics. Anyone else had this problem ?

Does anyone know what the difference is between the TSI & TDI version ? I can't see why you need to fit the extra pipe on the tdi exhaust as the exhaust trims more the cover the exits.

Badges have arrived, taken apart had to break the clips but will easily glue back together when painted. Will be a neater job this way instead of masking.

They are not on superskoda. From what I can gather they are mostly home made. I think the badge comes apart and is sprayed. I have ordered 2 to try.

Does anyone know where to get these from? On Instagram every vrs has them but I can't find them to buy.

Can confirm that on my 16 plate VRS tdi that the disc size is around 310mm
