  1. True most of it. But still faster than most cars. Model SP100d 0-60 2,4 sec. Just wild. But the price is too. 😂😂
  2. It is true that the Model 3 is a bit better assembled. But still it is a bit cheaper too. And compared to the model x or s it is a much cheaper car. I have driven them all. A model 3 performance feels really good. Makes all the cars I have previously owned feel like they are 20 years old. And the performance is just something else. Even a Model X P100 is really wild. Quality concerns in this thread like wheel bearings is just down to construction of the car. Everything needs to take as little space as possible and the bearings are not designed to last forever. Too short distance between the parts of the bearings that take the load.. And everything has to be cheap for the manufacturer too. They could produce cars that last longer. But people just wouldn’t buy them. Would be too expensive. And it is not a Skoda issue. All manufacturers have some issues with stuff like this. In Norway the VAG-company has most issues with rust. And they never seem to fix that issue. My rs230 pre fl Dsg was without any faults for 36000km. A good car.
  3. Vaq is attached to the gearbox. Sooooo much better than without. Xds is just through braking the wheels.
  4. Most of those seem to be 2009-10. The latest 2.0tsi is a really good engine.
  5. Well. Used to it. But someone has to do the job. Guess you met a few as the fastest Skoda driver on the site.
  6. Seems like only Mr Lewis Hamilton or such can. If you would have driven a Tesla S P100d you would be impressed by performance, tech and space inside. But it is in a different league price than budget brands like Ford and Skoda. The range is impressive. If you would like a car that really is fast look at the new Tesla roadster. wild. Too expensive for me on a sallary as a Magistrate and a teacher.
  7. Well. Not cheap the prices here. A practical car, but need to step up a bit to keep up with the competition. The goverment here has said that no petrol or diesel powered cars can be sold new here after 2025. So hope a new Octavia with a good design comes out soon. My brother went for a new Tesla. 0-60 in 2,7 seconds.
  8. No taxes like here. I am a lot in Leeds so quite known to the prices. The civic is a quick car. But a bit too much styling and spoilers. Impressive on the track when it is dry. Still only fwd. Tune a car here and the 5 year warranty is gone. It has a good engine the Octavia VRS. Easy to tune and impressive driveability. Wish Skoda could put even more effort in to it and get awd and better suspension. Weird since Seat has the same as golf R. Next generation octy VRS petrol probably will have awd.
  9. Not good that. In Norway I have only had good experience at Audi. They are easy to deal with. But the prices are something else. And a 245 like you have is £50000 here. Focus Rs cost me 52. Was 68000 new. The goverment need some taxes to pay for the third world coming here.
  10. Could not get my 230 over 36mpg. But it was not tuned. Good car. But some more understeer than the Ford. Worst part with the Skoda was the dealership here.
  11. I am currently running 25mpg. In winter it will be around 20mpg I guess. :p hope the next generation octy can get some proper Recaro seats. And a bit less shiny plastics that scratches when you look at it. Cant beat the space in a Octavia. But during the winter all fwd cars will be slow here. Its not Britain. Its Norway and loads of snow and icy roads. So looking forward to a car that can accelerate in these conditions. I never have anyone in the backseats. You dont buy a car like this as a familywagon.
  12. I was looking for the magnetic grey. Hard to find here. So it is stealth. :)
  13. It is a pretty wild package. I look away when refueling though. The prices are wild.
  14. It is the same colour as yours under the blue. Taking the matt blue wrapping off soon. Not happy with it. The previous owner did that. So it is mint under the wrapping. Quite a fun car.
  15. It has been a really tough decesion.. The new car prices in Norway is horrible.. the rs230 cost 55000gbp.. Sold for 38... Just awful.. And only with around 20000 miles on it.. Looked like a brand new car.. Really hope Skoda can come with a proper all wheel drive petrol soon!!!
  16. I have also moved on from my Skoda Octavia 2016 RS230. It was a great car. Couldn't been happier with it. Couldn't live with the new front, so no Rs245 for me. So now it is a Focus RS 2017 for me. Smaller car, but more fun. The MPG is not good and people are always trying to race me.. The negative parts!!! Miss the space in the Octavia. Better ICE-system in the skoda too.. The worst was the depreciation.... It was a kick in the balls!!! Will return when the Skoda Octavia brings on 300 hp and all wheel drive..
  17. To me it is a huge difference in road noise inside the A6 vs Octavia. And one thing mot mentioned is the aircon/heater system. So much better in the A6. But it is a premium car.
  18. What a car. Really impressive! Love it!
  19. Mercedes say that it is not necessary with a dipstick. No refill between services. Audi did the same, but didnt have quite as good engines regarding oilconsumption.
  20. Oiltemperature is best above 100c. But not above 140c. Depends a bit on the oil too. I am careful until it is around 50-60c. After that I drive like I usually do.
  21. Yes. But will explain a bit why the numbers are like they are. Click the link for updated info
