Hi I recently had to have my Yeti 4x4 system fixed, the pump and filter was dead due to the fact they are not listed in the servicing schedule, main dealer servicing from new and no mention of the need of this servicing. but now fixed I put the car on jacks to test and I can see all 4 wheels spinning (good sign). If I put my foot on 1 of the real wheels, it stops, no resistance. Is there no limiting of the slip on one side?

I recently found out my 4x4 Yeti has only been 2 wheel drive. The Haldex oil and filter had not been changed (even though main dealer serviced for the past 6 years).. that was clogged up and that had blow the pump. There was no warning lights on the dashboard.. it simple just was 2x2.. it took a gravel hill to find it out. My question.. would Haldex fault codes come through to a ODB2 readers as a error code? Or would I have needed a VAG specific reader. Many thanks Martin

4x4, 2.0 TDI 170hp, 6 speed Manual, 33k After a normal 33k service (without any knowing issues) the dealer said they found an oil leak in the gearbox, they suspect that there has been a major clutch failure and that it has damaged the gearbox housing. they are going to take out the starter motor and put in a camera. The dealer then showed my photos of someone else who had the same failure, if it looks the same they will look into fixing it.. under "goodwill" was mentions. I have seen other forum with the same looking damage. As I am out of warranty I am going to need to ensure I show a patten of failures and that this is a manufacturing issue and so will be covered by Skoda. I have done some digging around and seen a lot of people complain of DSG auto issues, a few dual mass flywheel issues. If anyway has had issues around clutch or gearbox in the past if would be interesting to hear from you thanks Martin
