  1. I think it's more the case of "man this engine is big and the engine bay is small, let's use the wheel well since we don't provide spare wheels anymore". Air filter and fuse box take up quite some space. Look. Edit: fun fact: in the engine bay you have the connection points to jump start the car (bottom right in red)
  2. Keep in mind that in case you ordered the 1.6 tdi your battery will occupy the spare wheel's place.
  3. For the exterior just minor headlights changes then, I was expecting more,it looks just like mine. They apparently focused on interior gadgets, but they should have added the new octavia amundsen, would have been cool.
  4. If you care to do the conversion, maybe you'll find this interesting.... Spaceback 1.6 tdi 115hp. Pretty satisfied so far
  5. Correct. The savio black and white 17" are monte carlo only
  6. Hard to tell frankly. Winter tires 185/60 15" are thinner but still winter tires, so compared to the 215/40 17", wider but summer, i cannot really find a difference. Then there is the cold weather in winter and consumption would be higher in any case. Add that I don't use the car daily so i wouldn't notice a difference in consumption, unless it was really big. Not the right person to answer the question, but i would say is pretty much the same consumption for me.
  7. As far as I know, montecarlo comes with 16" with the 17" as option. The width is the same ,215, so it should have no impact on consumption. No mention of 18" rims on the papers.Compared to the 15" i use in winter, the 17" give an harsher ride due to the lower sidewalls but the car is obviously more reactive.

  12. Monte carlo front spoiler and sideskirts here http://www.superskoda.com/Skoda/RAPID/Bodykit/ For the rear splitter i believe you will need to change the entire bumper, doesn't look like something that can be added Sent from my Sony Xperia™ smartphone using Tapatalk

  17. Like our ancestors used to do.Ok if you do that for work. I mostly use the car on motorways for example and the manual gearbox is not a problem. Like most things i believe that's a matter of taste/need/budget, no objective truths there[emoji2] Sent from my Sony Xperia™ smartphone using Tapatalk
  18. No offense taken! Sent from my Sony Xperia™ smartphone using Tapatalk
  19. The tail pipe is curved as well, maybe it is more visible due to the different shape of the lower part of the bumper. The seats' color is a sensitive topic, i think that one can just love them or hate them, nothing in between... Sent from my Sony Xperia™ smartphone using Tapatalk
  20. Sorry, didn't see your location... [emoji2] Sent from my Sony Xperia™ smartphone using Tapatalk
