  1. I ordered a 2.0tdi se business estate and it took 7 months to the day from order to delivery, although it was more likely just over 6 months but the leasing company we use will only release the car on the first of the month. Must say well worth the wait though
  2. I thought it was the case. Just previous Passat, mondeo and 3 series all opened fully off the key. Shame really it's my on niggle with the car so far. Should not been a tight git and paid for the electric
  3. I had this issue the other week, turns out there was a moth flying around and setting off the sensor. Once I got the "little" bigger out at 3 in the morning after a long battle it stopped
  4. I did not specify the electric tail gate on my estate. When you press and hold the boot button on the key it unlatches but the lid seems to heavy for it to lift it. Is this common for anyone else or do I possibly have a defective boot lid/latch?
  5. The only thing I wish I had specced on my s3 estate is the electric tail gate. The holding of the button in latches it but the boot lid is far to heavy for it to lift on its own. Before I get the whole "just open it yourself you lazy sod" responses, when you are picking up a delivery at work and you hands are full it would be nice. Out of interest is this common for all others? Or is it something I should approach with the dealer as a possible fault?
  6. I went for moon white and have to say that out of all the s3's se business/ se models white easily looks the best (imho obviously) just seems that in the other colours I have seen they all look a bit unfinished if that makes sense!? Must say it hides the general dirt quite well but first sign of mud and it drives you crazy. Hope the picture helps in your decision.
  7. Cheers oldgits, Yeah I mean just keeping it glossy, I have some autoglym stuff that I use on the misses Merc that keeps it shining well between washes. Used it on the Superb but on the white doesn't really do much, just want to make it not look flat really and have some shine. I have used clay bars before and I agree the results are quite unbelievable, you think a car is clean until you use one haha.
  8. Good couple of hours cleaning and protecting. Anybody have any advice on a good polish for white?
  9. So after 7 long months of waiting finally my superb 2.0tdi se business estate has been delivered to me!! So far I can't fault anything with the car (in the 15 miles I have done) I will post some pictures in the other thread when the rain finally has a rest.
  10. This is exactly what I have ordered and it will be 7 months to the day on delivery.
  11. After what will be 7 months to the day from order, leasing company called me to say I will be taking delivery of my 2.0tdi se business estate 1st June. I hope the car makes the wait worth it as I will be with it for 3 years!!
  12. Yeah, ordered 1/12/15 still being told 1/6/16 by lease company. Nothing confirm though
  13. I feel your pain, ordered 01/12/15 been told by the lease company that they have a delivery date booked in for the 01/06/16 but can't confirm that until the car is at the dealer. Only consolation is that the misses new merc a class amg was delivered today, so least I have something to play with during the wait!
