  1. Great news! Skoda agreed to pay for the replacement part and I have to pay for the labour - $250. Really pleased that common sense prevailed. I've asked them for a quote for a trade in on a new model with a longer warranty
  2. I have a 2011 Skoda Yeti 77TSI dsg and was told this week that the dsg has failed. I bought it as a demo in November 2011 and had the clutch pack applied in July2013 after taking it back to the dealer mechanic twice. I had all the services within the warranty period conducted by the Skoda dealer and have had 1 small service since the warranty expired. The dealer quoted $3300 plus labour which I obviously refused to pay. After speaking to Skoda Australia, the dealer has requested goodwiil from VW Australia and I'm awaiting to hear back. 6 months ago my car broke down on the freeway due to a coil needing replacement. I got the car towed to the dealer who charged me $400 to replace the part. Failing cooperation from the dealer, I can go to Consumer affair under the 'lemon laws'. Have others had a similar experience?
  3. Hi all, I'm now having the same flashing spanner on my 2011 Yeti. I had the dsg fix applied 2 years ago. What was your outcome?
