  1. Looks like we will be rolling out of the forecourts at roughly the same time in our new machines I can't wait.
  2. Thanks, I got the call from the dealer yesterday. The car is in Dublin, so I can pick it up any day next week. This is pretty much the exact timescale my dealer gave me on the day I ordered back in October.
  3. Got the call from the dealer this morning. The car is in Dublin, so he is trying to get it down to me ASAP. Might possibly be driving it by the weekend
  4. If you want to get down into the specifics of it, you can track the boats leaving Emden Port using this website: https://www.myshiptracking.com/ports-arrivals-departures/?pid=156 Most of the vehicle carriers have "Highway" in their name. I remember there used to be dedicated posts to ship tracking on these forums a few years back when I was waiting for my last car. the downside of this is that it can really wreak your head!
  5. Hi Adaminski, Ireland here and awaiting delivery from build week 51 also. Have you had any update from your dealer as to when to expect it?
  6. Is anyone else awaiting delivery from build week 51? Just curious as to how long I might have to wait....looking forward to my new toy! I will ring the dealer this week for an update.
  7. Hi tkn, do you know what build week your car was? I'm waiting on a Superb Sportline, build week 51. I'm going to ring the dealer this week to chase it up. With regards to any updates I was told by Skoda Customer service that the dealer is the best way to track it.
  8. Ireland here too and seem to be in a similar situation to yourself i.e. moving from a Octavia vRS (2016 tdi Quartz Grey Combi) to a Superb Sportline (Combi 190 DSG) in January. This will be my second Skoda, loved the RS.
  9. It's a strange one when you compare what's currently available to order from the different countries. Skoda Ireland currently have the following available to order in the Superb and the configurator has been updated in the last few weeks to reflect this: Pertrol: 1.5 TSI 150bhp 1.5 TSI 150bhp DSG Diesel: 2.0 TDI 150bhp 2.0 TDI 150bhp DSG 2.0 TDI 150bhp 4x4 2.0 TDI 190bhp DSG 2.0TDI 190bhp 4x4 DSG
  10. In Ireland the Supernovas are currently an option on the Sportline for €1700! I just couldn't justify them at that price.
  11. Is it a worry that none of the Superb diesels exist on this list? Yet, I was able to order a Sportline 190 DSG mid October.
  12. PCP worked out pretty well for me this time, despite considerable excess mileage, so fingers crossed it will work out again. Initially planned on a Octavia RS245 (petrol), but hard to justify with the mileage I do and the Superb just seemed like a very tempting step up.
  13. Hi all, just curious did anybody else place an order during this sales event (due to finish November 10th)? I have placed an order for a Superb Sportline Combi 190 DSG, moving from my 2016 Octavia vRS, which I loved! Really looking forward to the DSG.
  14. Hi Dubsey, Did you get the vinyl wrap on the roof done? Can I ask where you got it done and for how much? I have a Business Grey Sportline 190 DSG Combi ordered, hopefully to arrive in Jan!
  15. That is a Lovely looking machine. Is there a panoramic sunroof? wondering if that and the 19"'s come as standard.
  16. Christmas is coming early I hope you keep us posted on how it's going for you, I'd be particularly interested in how the 1.4TSI is.
  17. Hi Jeff, the reason for this historically is the level of VRT (Vehicle Registration Tax) the Irish Government apply to cars. So to keep the price down for the consumer, the spec in Ireland is generally less than what you get in the UK. An example of this is the Superb Combi Sportline 1.4 DSG, in the UK it is £30,000 (€34,000), the equivalent in Ireland is £35,250 (€40,000) and depending on which link you see, we may have to pay extra on top of this for the 19" Vega Alloys and the Sunroof.
  18. Hi Dubsey, Ireland here also and have started looking at the Sportsline just over the last few weeks. My PCP isn't up till early 2019, so it will be a long year! On the brochure from the Skoda Ireland site it lists the 19" Vega alloys and Kessy as part of the standard spec for the sportline, but it doesn't list the sunroof (although it does show it in the images).
  19. Hi 2SHEA, I'm in the same boat. Currently have a 161 Vrs Tdi Quartz Grey Combi, xtreme alloys, kessy, full leather, chrome package, sunset glass, panoramic roof. Love it, but looking at changing early 2019 for either a Superb Sportsline or Kodiaq Sportsline. Does anyone know if your PCP is up, can you extend it for a year or so in order to wait for a model to be released (i.e. a facelift or even the MK4 Octavia)?
  20. collected March 16th. Love it!! My first VRS Quartz Grey Combi, xtreme alloys, kessy, full leather, chrome package, sunset glass, panoramic roof.
  21. I ordered my Vrs on Jan 18th, collected March 16th. Quartz Grey Combi, xtreme alloys, kessy, full leather, chrome package, sunset glass, panoramic roof. Hopefully pics show!
  22. Collected my VRS last Wednesday (March 16th), ordered Jan 18th. My first Skoda and absolutely loving it.
  23. Picking mine up today, I ordered on the 18th Jan also
  24. I got onto Skoda Ireland and they confirmed that the lock nuts do not come as standard, which is pretty poor on a car with a starting price of €35k!
  25. I got onto Skoda Ireland and they confirmed that they do not come as standard, which is pretty poor on a car with a starting price of €35k!
