  1. Just looking at photo's of mine and it does look very similar, it might be worth measuring them both to see if it will fit.
  2. That is the MK2 VRS and you are getting a MK3 MC so i dont think so....
  3. I',m in the same boat as you mate. I have had lots of cars (Saxo vtr, clio 182, RX8, FN2 type R) in the past with exhaust's that wern't to over the top noisy but just made it sound a bit more sporty. Most people seem to think that is you change the exhaust all you want to do, is make the car as loud as possible. Which is not the case for most people. You might want to try and get info from the other forums, (Seat, and VW) as they have more people on them, that modify cars. Lots of people on here are very helpful, but lots just like to moan about to having one touch electric windows lol.
  4. Add me to the list- Mines never really worked! Also if i dont drive my car for a day, when i go to drive it, it comes up on the screen warning battery low charge (or something along those lines! I will make sure I get it looked at before it goes out of Warranty though !
  5. I guess it depend how deep your pockets are ! Springs will give you the look, but coilovers will ride and handle better.
  6. Hi I have the Sports springs and the 17" wheels, fitted at the factory. I would just fit aftermarket ones to be honest, dont bother with the Skoda ones! It doesnt look much lower than the standard suspension. I believe its about 15mm lower, however the larger wheels do help to fill the arches better. I have seen some 40mm lowering springs online, that i will get at some point
  7. Hi All I love cleaning my Race Blue Fabia, its really easy to get a wet look finish. Just keep the paintwork free off fallout and tar, and wash, polish and wax every week or so. I only polish with Poorboys Gaze so dont eat away at the clear coat
  8. Mine are noisy but its not a squeal, its more like the grinding noise that get when you first use the brakes after you have washed your car. Im sure that i can feel a slight vibration on the brake pedal too. I have checked to see if there is a stone trapped between a pad and the disc but no sign of anything. I am going to get Skoda to have a look when it goes in for its service next month! I will let you know of the outcome.
  9. I havnt turned mine up yet! How much of a differnace did it make ??
  10. Thanks for that, i did find it in the end under the airbox. To be fair to race chips they did email the instruction manual and it was correct. It was only the manaul in the box that was wrong. I should have checked that first !! But i am really happy with the results, engine feels much stronger in the mid range now !!
  11. Hi all I have just got myself a Race chip 2, i went to fit it but i cant find the map sensor. The instructions that came with it show a photo of the old TSI engine! Can anybody send me a photo of where it is ? Cheers Martin
  12. Hi All I have just got myself a race chip 2, tried to install it but i cant find the map sensor! The instruction that came with it only have photos of the old TSI engine. Can anybody tell me where it is ? Cheers Martin

  14. It looks really nice in White, I think i would have gone for White, but i have just had a white Civic for the last few years so wanted a change.
  15. I brought my car though Carwow in March and they wernt an option then! I wish they were though as I would have gone for them.
  16. Not long to go now, put a photo up once you have collected it
  17. haha I have just had a look and i see what you mean, mains should only take a few mins, but the other ones are a nightmare ! My best mate works in a bodyshop, so he said it would only take 30 mins or so to take the bumper and headlights out, so might just get him to do that lol. If it saves my hands ! Failing that, might be-able to make a bit more room by loosening the battery and sliding it back a bit ?
  18. Hi Could somebody please tell me what size a the headlight bulbs, both dipped and main beam ? Also what aftermarket bulbs are best ? Went into Halfords yesterday and they dont list the Mark 3 on their charts. Cheers Martin
  19. Cool, what colour did you go for ? It only took a week for me to get mine once in the UK so you should get it, but most dealers dont like doing weekend handovers, so it might be worth giving them a call to check ?
  20. What spec have you gone for ? When are you expecting it ?
  21. Picked it up yesterday, Did a quick detail before the rain came down. Really happy with it, got 47 MPG on the 55 mile trip home, which i didnt think was too bad.
  22. Picked up my Fabia Monte Carlo yesterday! Well happy
  23. It looks lovely mate. Yes the DIY car wash things can be a nightmare.
  24. Hi All I ordered my Monte Carlo at the end of Feb/Start of March. I was told that the car would be ready at the end of May, but since i placed the order my dealer has been great and they have been giving me weekly updates. Happy to say the car was made ahead of schedule and is ready to be collect next Monday. Does anybody less think that they quote long lead time, to get people to order a car that they have in stock ?? As i was quoted 16 weeks and it took half of that ? Also i went for the race blue, 110hp 1.2 TSI, with 17" wheels, sport suspension, heated seat and the simply clever pack (a phone holder and some bits for the door pockets lol) Brought it through Carwow as my local dealer was useless, the service i got from Skoda in Derby was great. They sent me the below photo this morning Cant wait to get it now.
