Hi all, I had an unfortunate incident where someone drove into the back of me and caused minimal damage to the back bumper. His insurance company has admitted liability and are paying for all repairs and hiring a car whilst mine has been fixed. I have subsequently found a crack in the front bumper under the driver's side headlight that I had not noticed prior to the accident and there are no tell tale signs of someone reversing into me so without any evidence to the contrary I have attributed this to a jolt from the accident traveling through the car and cracking the front bumper at a stress point. The accident happened on a roundabout where I was giving way to traffic and the car behind bumped into me. The speed was very low and the initial damage to my car appears to be some sort of bolt trying to push through my rear bumper. The Driver's insurance company has rejected my claim for the front bumper saying that as I didn't hit anything in front of me the crack could not have been caused by the accident. Does anyone know if it is indeed possible for the front bumper to crack from an accident in the rear of the car. Thanks.

Sorry I have no idea I'm afraid as it was installed by the Skoda dealer. When I picked the car up it was there and it worked but other than that .....

Apologies if a thread already exists for this topic. I bought a 3 month old Superb from a Dealer who had installed a Road Angel Halo in the vehicle. I had booked my car in for warranty job as the DAB radio had really poor reception. This morning I disconnected the Dash Cam and the DAB radio worked much as I thought it should so the Dash Cam must be interfering with the DAB signal. I haven't cancelled the warranty booking yet but has anyone else experienced this and if so is there a way round it? Ideally I would like to use both the radio and the Dash Cam. Thanks.

Yeah, would have done had I fully appreciated what SLA was but hey ho we are where we are. Just wondering if anyone else had this added and at what approximate cost.

Just want to put this out there. You have two Brokers A and B. Broker A operates a business model that takes a fee from the Dealer for introducing a sale which is all above board. Broker B operates a model where they sell fleet cars to private buyers and put the private buyers name as the first keeper of the vehicle log book when it should be the fleet operator. This practice I believe if not illegal then very close to it. Broker A knows about this practice because Broker B openly advertises the fact that the private buyer will be the first name on the log book. Broker A sees a lot of business going to Broker B when they would reasonable expect to get that business if Broker B was not doing something underhand and therefore able to offer bigger discounts. Broker A goes to SUK and says do you know what's going on with Broker B. SUK says no it doesn't and decides to block all vehicles from Broker B while it carries out investigations into the allegations. Not beyond the realms of possibility.
