All diesel Skodas are bad in second gear at low revs. Drove me crazy for a while, then you learn to shift down before crossings. Next Skoda gonna be DSG for me. You´re gonna get used to it, not the end of the world, but a bit annoying.

I to have pirelli p7, 17". I just bought the car but i hate them already. The noise is awful and loud, talked to the dealer about changing them. He couldent take them back, but would ask a tyre dealer to trade them in and give me a fair price on dunlop maxx tr 2(if i remenber the name right). They are specced at 6db lower, hope it helps.

Sounds good, really looking forward to testing the 4x4 some day. This car begs do get really dirty from time to time. Load it up with my mtb and go beyond the end of the road. :p My neighbour has a polish machine, said he could fix it, just need to bribe him with a couple of beers.

washing the car 3 times in a week might be overkill, but my kid decided to rub his hand with gloves on, on the side of the car. Aouch, full of markings from the sand. The wash with schampoo/wax didnt help, but a polish maschine might do the trick, its not deep markings. At least the rest looks great again

Looks good, have you tried the 4x4 in any off-roading? Only had a minor experience so far, had to back down "steep" a gravel road, not the slightest of wheel spin when i drove up again And to the bad news... my kid decided to draw some circles on the passenger door with his rubber rain glove, oh the horror. All the little pieces of the sand followed the glove around and around. It´s not deep, so i hope it can be polished away.

Finally my scout has arrived bit of misshap on the way home, flat tyre. Called skoda for help, and not only did they fix it (late friday), they ordered a new tyre for free skoda dealer in Umeå, Sweden, are awsome!

This is the car Will get the black plastic cover for the rearview mirror as well. Spoke with the dealer again, won´t get until 11-12th of april it looks like, just fine by me, dry roads and lots of grip

Looks great! Did the noise insulation make any difference? If it does, i will get it for sure. Might be even better for the dieselengine.

I live in Umeå, and sure, the last (hopefully) snow is melting, 8 degrees plus today and sunshine But next week it looks like -10 instead... The law says april 1st if the roads has snow or ice on it, before that you are not allowed to change tires. The dealer wanted me to pick it upp on the 29th if it has arrived. He´s on vacation 30th mars-6th april :( 1 month ago i found som good deals on winter tires, now nothing. Maybe they put them away already and don´t care if they just sit on them. I´ll be taking the car straight to a paint conservation. Arctic seal 2.0, so hopefully they will be done april 1st

Tjena BGB Hello and thank you Samuir! Heard lot´s of good stuff on the TSI, but been driving diesel for a few years now and really like it. Borrowed the 184 DSG for a few days, but automatic is´nt for me, i like the feeling of full controll of the revs Have a KIA Sportage now that i will be trading in, 115hp and heavier. The 150TDI is perfect for me Spoke with the dealer this morning and he thinks it will arrive next week, the only problem then is that i might have to buy wintertires :( 1-2 weeks to early delivery. Was hoping to push that until october. I hate changing tyres, and this means i have to do it about 2 weeks apart...

Found this forum the other day, much better then the swedish one. Just bought a octavia scout TDI150 -16, it will arrive in 2 weeks. Can't whait Cheers to you all! I'll be sure to post some pics as soon as it arrives.
