  1. How do you transfer stuff onto the jukebox HD? I haven't figured that out yet and just have music on an SD.
  2. My steering wheel in my SE L Exec is rarely centred on a straight line. It seems to be heavily influenced by road camber but almost always is slightly to the left even on a flat road. It also doesnt seem to have an obvious 'wheels dead ahead' position in the steering feel. The weird thing is that the SIII hire car that I had for 2 months before getting my own also felt exactly the same. Between the two I also drove a new Passat for a couple of months and that had a very centred steering wheel which would almost spring back to dead centre; the superb on the other hand doesn't seem to know where its dead centre/wheels dead ahead are. Is this normal?
  3. Im pretty sure on the DSG i just have to push the accelerator again to wake up the ACC, no need to touch the lever.
  4. I find Eco mode makes a huge difference but again using the technique above. I have also found that after breaking if you give the accelerator a little tap with your foot the car goes back into coast, its become second nature and now use it all the time when driving around during normal working hours when the roads are busy. I have it in individual as the above with just the drive set to Eco, then blip it into sport using the stick when I need to overtake or something, then back to Eco.
  5. I think it'll look awesome! Quite fancy these on my Quartz Grey estate
  6. With a 2.0tdi DSG the worst I have had so far was fully loaded, including roof box and driving to and around snowdonia (hilly!) and I got 550 miles to the reserve light (so probably still had another 100 to go realistically). Otherwise usually 600-700 before seeing the reserve light. So think you will be fine!
  7. I find the MPG can vary wildly depending on the way my 2.0tdi DSG S3 estate is driven or what is in/on it - is that the same for everyone? In Eco mode I can get high 50's mpg, in sport mode on a particularly spirited drive it only managed 42mpg, then on a recent trip to Snowdonia with wife, kid, dog and a roof box even in eco mode it only managed mid 40's even with very careful economical driving. Is this normal? To be fair I only have 2500 miles on the car so its still bedding in. My last car was a volvo XC90 which being such a big heavy beast didn't seem to notice if it was just me in it, or fully loaded with camping gear, people, roof box, etc the MPG was always about the same so maybe I'm just not used to a lighter more efficient car being more susceptible?
  8. We have several insulated mugs and while I agree the holders are far too small and instead should be like the ones in my old golf which were bigger but had rubber flaps which would accommodate and grip all sizes, I do luckily have one mug with a thinner bottom half which fits perfectly! That has now become 'my' insulted mug in the household!
  9. I am hoping that the rear seat release buttons in the boot can be retrofitted as I couldn't order the option (company car) but really wanted them. Anyone got any idea?
  10. First drive of my new superb this morning and I accidentally discovered that if you spring the DSG lever backwards from the D mode it shifts into Sport mode, without having to press the mode button a couple of times, makes for quick shifting into Sport for an overtake or bit of twisty road, then another flick of the lever puts it back into D. Perhaps you all know that already but I hadn't read it anywhere so though I would share. You can tell its in Sport mode by the current gear indicator on the display between the speedo/rev counter dials changes from 'D' to 'S'.
  11. Ah ok my mistake then, thanks for the responses. Otherwise loving the car - its only got 35 delivery miles on it and a quick trip around the block last night - but I've got to go about 80miles today, can't wait
  12. Mine just arrived yesterday also in Quartz Grey, looks like the pic above (Maherto) but mines an SE L Exec with 18" Modus wheels - it looks amazing in the flesh. I almost regretted not choosing petrol blue but seeing the blue/grey hue of the Quartz in the sun yesterday I made the right decision
  13. Hi I just got my superb today and read the manual to set up the auto mirror dipping in reverse. I tested it and it worked. Later on I went out in the car and it didn't dip when in reverse unless i manually switched the mirror selector on the door handle to the left mirror, then it dipped. Is this normal or should it do it automatically?
  14. Sure enough mine has arrived today after ordering it at the end of February - Estate in Quartz Grey 2.0tdi DSG SE L Exec
  15. Mine arrived just now, Superb Estate SE L Exec 2.0tdi 150PS DSG in Quartz Grey with black leather, it is stunning!
