  1. [quote name="devonutopia" post="4566263" timestamp="1458432944for the blower off a large VNT powered vehicle. I think some of the high end Merc Sprinter vans use a massive VNT blower. that might be worth a look. Will probably look into a hybrid. I think it would ruin the drive if i ran a massive charger
  2. Thanks lads. Just the sort of advice i was looking for. I knew it was a bit ambitious just didnt want to part with something that awesome. Im more of a driveway mechanic following google how to's and the like probablyy why the fiat blew up come to think of it
  3. Do i need some ecu work doing to make it work? Will it throw a code? Il have one if they are still available
  4. Hi all so ive got a garrett gt28rs lying around from a foolish endeavour regarding a fiat coupe. I was just wondering (provided i fabricate a manifold) what sort of result i would get mating it up to a pd130. Has anybody had any experience with this sort of conversion? The only reason i am reluctant to sell that chsrger in place of a more suitable one is because i spent a great deal of time and money (and swearing) rebuilding it. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks. chris.
  5. Thanks ste ive not been living in leeds very long. Been looking to attend some meets/shows. any decent ones around here? I go to the vw one at harewood every year
  6. Thanks bud. Love the 20v fabia. Is that your daily drive? What engine did you pull out of it? Quite a drive down here from york. Must have been a good build to survive the m1 every day
  7. Hello fellow briskodians! Hope everyone is well, just a week after picking up my new car and driving my wife insane talking cars at her. I thought it was time to meet some like minded car people. I am driving a 2004 fabia vrs pd with one owner and full comprehensive main dealer service history up to the 99000 miles when i picked it up. Its going to be a shame breaking the service history up as i do all my own repairs/maintenance. Ive already got a huge list of things to do to the car over the next few months. Going for plenty of reliability mods, performance mods and an oem+ look apart from a cheeky front mount peeping out from behind the front grill. Im eager to hear about your cars and all of the positive and negative experiences you have had both driving and spannering on these awesome cars.
