  1. It doesn't look simple but not as bad as i expect. I scared that i have to take hole unit down before i get access to thermostat, but as i understood right i can change it on it's place? :-) Only have to remove "few" parts on the way. Does anyone know how is situation with coolant pump + belt? When those have to change?
  2. I try to look thermostat location today, but i didn't find it :-) Can someone help me and tell me where is it and is it possible to change it easy way or is it somewhere hard place?
  3. Yes it was. First time change is made in that recall.
  4. I live in finland and i have replaced oil after every 60 000km. And yes we have DSG7. I think that it helps this gearbox to stay alive :-) I have read so nuch topics where gearbox/clutch or mechatronic has been broken before 200 000km. our car is now almost 300 000km driven and newer had any problems with gear box or clutch. And this change costs only little over 100€ in local dealer so it's really cheap. And every change oil has been dirty.
  5. Hi. Can someone help me to figure out where is rear lights control module? Trunk cables has cut and those where replaced but after that rear fog lights has been always on. Board computer says that lights are broken :-) I think that this module has damaged when cables has broken, but where is this control module?
  6. Thank´s for reply. Can someone get some picture of that box? And what text is in that box? In finland we have lot´s of spare parts for skoda but i have to manage what box that is :-) I have found many comfort module for sale..
  7. No one has any ideas? What about this "comfort"box under passanger seat? Is it possible that it has damaged? I have read that it may cause many kinf of problems? Does rear lights go that way? Or witch way? :-)
  8. Same wiring issue than others :-) I repair wirings by myself but those wires have triple checked and isolated properly. Nothing coding has done, but when wires where broken hey might get touch with others. Is it possible theat it broke something? Where is relay for rear fog lights? If that has damaged? Only way get lights off is take them out :| They burn even if ignition is turned off...
  9. Hi. Sorry about my bad english but i try to explain anyway :-) i have weird problem with my superb(hatchback) tailgate fog lights. Wiring was cut off and i change new wirings. All wires have cracked and three wires was cut. But after i have changed wirings rear fog light start burning even if power is off. There is no mater do i have fog lights on or off. Before wiring fox there was no problem with lights. They work as they should. All wires have checked many times and everything is connected right. I have try to change light switch and that was ok. And everything else works fine. Where i can try to find solution? Is there relay somewhere? In finnish forum no one have any ideas..
