Did this repair today. Worked a treat. Only awkward thing was the plug, but a bit of patience with a tea break saw it pop off eventually

Well I've had my 2006 octavia vrs tfsi on the computer today and apparently it's a pressure sensor switch, which sounds like this is relevant to the thread, I've bought a repair kit from ebay, not only did the seller confirm it would fit my car but also told me it was overdue a recall reference a coil pack. So to stop waffling is this quite an easy fix? Is it really as simple as it reads? What I don't want to do is strip the part refit the repair pack and then be left with no brakes meaning I can't get it to a garage, I'm a mechanic in the army but I normally only touch air brakes. I've changed my front discs and pads today and someone had smashed the sensor cable connector and bodged it with electrical tape, so now what do I do? Can the cable be bought? 56 plate vrs tfsi

Ok, so I've just got a 56 plate vrs estate, I'm in need of various body panels, one of which is the rear bumper. I've found a salvaged item from a hatch, which is very good but is fitted with parking sensors, so my question is, can I remove the salvaged bumper and associated wiring and pug and play into my estate? Please go easy as I'm new to this.

Guys, I've just bought a 2006 56 plate tfsi vrs that has had a beating! The previous owner who is a relative was going to scrap it, it'll require a few new panels but I've been told it has a water leak, any ideas on what is the most common place for this to happen. I'd post some pictures but don't know how too. James

Currently residing near Leicester, own a 2008 Octavia vrs tdi, and have been given a rather battered 2006 Octavia vrs tfsi. Will be after any advice on both cars. James
