  1. I'm picking up my Fabia tomorrow! So for anyone reading this thread in the future I thought I'd post a basic timeline. Ordered - 19/03/16 Built - 20/04/16 Emden - 25/04/16 Grimsby Docks - 09/05/16 Arrived at Dealers - 16/05/16 Collection - 19/05/16 So exactly two months (8 weeks and 5 days) from order to collection which I think is very reasonable.
  2. This happens to me on occasion although I am driving an X reg Mk1 Fabia with 97k on it. Expecting a Mk3 to arrive for me any day though and it would be disappointing to have the same problem with that. It is very rare for me though so not too much of a pain.
  3. Rang the dealer. Mine is also in the uk! So hopefully not much longer to wait. So should be around 8 weeks from order to delivery which I think is quite impressive.
  4. My car was at Emden on the 25th April and there have been so many boats into Grimsby since then but still no word from my dealer. :( Hoping that I'll get a call soon saying its at the dealership and its just skipped a few communication steps...
  5. So presumably with the manual box pressing the start button without holding down the clutch will have the same effect. Ignition will be on but engine will not start? Hope this is the case.
  6. I have seen one in the Fens! So that makes at least 3.
  7. Got an update today saying mine is at Emden so hopefully it'll be aboard a ship and crossing the north sea in the near future.
  8. I think they do try to sell cars they have in stock first. After ordering mid-March I was originally told I could be waiting until the end of June for a factory order. So they offered me a few cars from stock. But, I said I'd prefer a factory order and they were fine with it. Build week is this week so it is looking good for mid-May delivery and much earlier than the original estimated delivery time. Fingers crossed. Yours looks great. I've also gone for the race blue. Not in Monte form though.
  9. Looks great! I originally ordered in candy white too but then changed it to race blue. I hope I haven't made a mistake. Build week 16 so not long to find out.
  10. I ordered on 19th March and the dealer said finance offers usually change every quarter so if this one had been better I could have cancelled and moved onto this new finance deal instead. I will be better off on the old deal though so I'm staying put. Build week 16 hoping for delivery mid May. Excited!
  11. Hi everyone (my first post), I've recently ordered a new mk.3 Fabia and whilst doing some research on the internet before hand I noticed that skoda used to sell branded waterproof seat covers for the mk.2. Does anybody know if they have a version for the mk.3 or whether the mk.2 ones would fit the mk.3 seats? Failing that does anyone have any suggestions of another product which would be suitable. I'm mainly interested in covers for the front seats. Thanks in advance
