Just wondering if anybody has bought these arch flares for their Fabia mk2 from superskoda.com, are they easy to fix, anybody got pics?

Hi everyone, looking for some advice. I recently bought 4x second hand 16" Comet alloys for my Fabia. 3 wheels are mint with the 4th one having a gouge in one of the 'spokes', but in the thickest part of the alloy. The main gouge is about 40mm long x 6mm wide x 2mm deep. I have painted it, so it's not so noticeable, should I be worried and get it repaired or just ignore it. The wheel is otherwise in excellent condition, I don't do many miles and mostly local.

Yeah I'm a little concerned too. The protective film may well be the way to go. Thanx for the reply.

Cheers, I've got the hatch without the roof rails. Planning on carrying my bikes, mostly. Ordered the Farad bars now, they are a bit more long winded than anything I've fitted before. Not than keen on the fixing kit against the metal of the car, but they all seem to be like that for the hatch. I intend to leave them on permanently too, as it's going to be a pain taking them on and off all the time, besides I don't usually do long distances, so I'm not bothered about the drag. I am concerned that they may damage the paintwork long term, especially as my car is mint with only 16k on the clock, should this worry me??

I want to buy some roof bars for my Mk2 Fabia, but there's so many out there I was wondering if anybody has put 'Farad' roof bars on their car and are they any good? I don't really want to go to the expense of 'Thule' ones.

Hi everybody, I have a 2009 1.4 Fabia with 14,000 miles on the clock, serviced from new, but today the engine warning light came on whilst driving and has stayed on ever since. The handbook says "a fault exists in an exhaust relevant component" and that I should drive it carefully and gently to my nearest specialist garage. Could this just be a sensor or is it something more serious and expensive?

Hope someone can help me. Can anybody tell me what red my Fabia is, when I google the code it comes up with different reds. I know it definitely isn't 'flame red', was wondering if it was 'Flamenco red', it's a darkish metallic red (9892). Does anybody know of a another manufacturer which has a similar red, as my local car parts shop sell loads of red touch up paints (lot less than dealer), just not for a Skoda. It's just to touch up stone chips etc.

Hoping someone can help me. I want to change the roof aerial on my Fabia as the standard one keeps catching the garage door. But when I try to unscrew it, it loosens enough to fold down but then just turns and turns. Is there a special way of removing these?

ha ha, thanx. It was my father's, he's had to give up driving so offered me the car. Full service history, one owner from new (my dad). It has extras including leather steering wheel, gear knob and hand brake gaiter. I just need to polish out some scratches etc to make it mint.
