    Sounds like a steering angle sensor but similar happens with the ABS/Wheel speed sensors. Either way, doing the scan is the right way to sort it and you'll get the answer pretty quickly.

    I had a rear wheel speed sensor go faulty and that caused all of the above, including the park assist failing.
