Hello everyone. As the title says I'm having a problem with my climatronic. What actually happens is weird and I can't find a way to reproduce the problem myself. So when I'm using the climatronic on cold it works fine at the beggining. When I'm on the highway using the cruise control at 120 Km/h after some time it stops blowing cold air for about 2-3 min (sometimes even for 5 min). Then it comes back again blowing normally cold air. This will happen again at random moments and there's not a standard interval the problem occurs. This will not happen when I'm driving in town at lower speeds. I went to the dealer trying to explain the problem and they said to me there was a TPI and made an update to the ECU. When I got the car from the dealer and went to the highway the problem appeared again (at random intervals it was not blowing cold air). I bought a carista adapter and showed these 2 errors on the pictured attached. If anyone knows anything about this problem I would be glad for any help. Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately I don't think someone can help me with this. I tried some work myself with the fitting of the bulbs. They seem steady and at the correct position since the beam pattern looks good. The problem that still exists is the "shake" of the beam pattern when the car hits a bump. What I found during my work was that the hole projector unit was not steady (I could move it with my finger a little bit). Maybe I damaged it when I was trying to correctly fit the bulbs. I don't know if there is a way to make it steady again. 😥

It's nothing to worry about. I've noticed it too and it comes from the brake pedal. And yeah this only happens once after you start the engine. It feels like something is engaging (ABS perhaps?).

Maybe... Try doing it when the window is fully opened. Hold again the button 10+ seconds and give it a try. If the problem persists then it may be something else. When the window is functioning properly in the manual it states that the first time the window is blocked by something it will not close and get down again about half way. If this happens again within a small time limit the protection mechanism won't work thus the window will try to fully close even if something blocks it. In your case it does it 2 times in raw and on 3rd try it closes. That's odd.

Try holding the button for driver's window up to 10 seconds when it's fully closed. This usually makes the trick. At least when the auto function of the drivers window wasn't working at my Fabia this did the job. Unfortunately you can't do this for the passenger side since it's not automatic. This also applies for the rear windows.

Hello everyone. I'm an owner of Fabia 1.2 TSI 110 style edition. As the title says I would like some help with xenon fitting on the headlights of the car. It has been over a year that I have installed a xenon kit on my car (or at least I tried) but I have some problems. First of all during my first attempt to install the kit I broke the original metal holders that were used for the halogen bulbs and in order to install the xenons I searched and bought these adapters instead. Although the installation seemed ok I found the bulbs were not holding very good inside the housing. They felt loose and not at the correct position inside the projector. The car was ordered with sports suspension and when it goes over a bump I can see the light pattern "shaking" which makes it very annoying. I tried to find the original halogen holders but with no luck. I've even asked my dealer about them but they said to me they come in with whole the headlight unit. So I kindly ask for some help from anyone that has installed a xenon kit to instruct me how to install correctly the kit with steady and correct position of the bulbs and what holder I can use. No problem. Full Led front headlights are by far the best. Although I tried some custom LEDs on the low beams the Start/Stop system seems to burn them up after 2-3 months. And also the light that they were emmiting wasnt quite right on the projectors... Too many dark spots in my case

Just to clarify.. I don't mean the DRL but the low beams. If you mean the low beams then yes I can get them as well since its the same model... Though I don't if there will be any problem with the errors on the canbus.

It would be nice if we could fit those LED front and rear lights to our Fabia III!

I thought that the stage 1 upgrade included an air filter.. Are you referring to the revo software by the way? Does it worth to put a high octane gasoline to the car?

If that's the case yes the site needs to be updated because there's no choise in Stage 1 software. Do you know how much bhp did he get with the revo software? As for the consumption I've read that it stays about the same but I wanted to know from someone with personal experience. By the way I would like to know what else does a Stage 1 upgrade in a car include apart from the Software and an Air-Filter change?

RaceChip has more logical price and good power increase. I find BSR too expensive. Can you see the difference in accelaration with the new software? And how about the consumption?

Well that's pretty interesting. +34bhp one stage 1 software is not a small upgrade although its about 450€ in my country (There are stage 3 programs for other cars with about 500€). I went to the revo site as well and it says the software is under development for the Mk3 Fabia. I'm gonna wait till more softwares come out for the Mk3 Fabia and see some feedback from car owners to see how it goes!

I had my post asking about an engine software that changes engines torques to increase performance but noone has answered me yet about it. It seems there are not any people who have installed any software in the new Fabia or either such softwares are under development. If anyone has more info about it I would be glad as well to read about it.

It's true that if you use too many comforts while you drive like climate control the start/stop system won't work but still I have some doubts about mine w/o using any comforts during driving. Now apart from the S/S does anyone know if it's possible to replace the Swing radio with a Bolero one? Thank you again.

I was aware about the ambient temperatures but still it doesn't make any sense to me. I know also the climate control is a factor and with it enabled of course the Start/Stop system would not kick in. Without the climate it would almost immedietately. The thing is that the car's manual clearly states that the S/S system shouldn't work till the optimal engine temperature is reached. Also it states that the car shouldn't be pushed too much at the beggining (i.e high RPMs) till optimal temperature is reached. When it's time for the first car service I will tell my dealer to look at it for sure. Any suggestions about my other questions anyone? Thank you for your responses till now

Hello. I'm an owner of a Skoda Fabia Mk3 Style TSI 1.2 110HP bought on November 2015. I would like to ask some (mostly) technical questions about my car. First of all I'm pretty satisfied with the new Fabia and till now I don't have any problems with it. So let's get to the questions: 1. I'm a little bit dissapointed by the fact that the new Fabia does not have window opening/closure via the key fob, although the old Fabia does have it. Is there any way to add this optional feature to the car? 2. I was wondering if my Start/Stop system is a little bit "buggy" because inside the car's manual says the system won't work if the engine does not reach an optimal temperature. In my case it works even if i have started the car 2-3 minutes ago and stopped in traffic. 3. During the purchase of the car I made a mistake and bought the Swing radio instead of the Bolero. Is it possible to replace it and add features like Mirror Link? 4. I would like to know if there are any software programs for the new Fabia that can change the engine torques and increase power and accelaration. Thanks in advance!
