Hi all, Thanks for the new updates. I have decided against the yeti now. I quite liked it but my wife didn't (she is an evoque driver so say no more). It seemed a lot smaller in the back for my dog so the whole thing got poo pooed. I would like an Octavia estate, needs leather though

I knew the influx of people was becoming more problematic....now they have forced you to sell your car? -

If you can turn this into an estate, I'll be over! -
Thanks for all of the assistance. It is now all pretty moot as the space in the back is not enough for my dog. So it's Octavia estates now:)

I think it's safe to say that the roofbox I am talking about is significantly longer than the recent additions to this thread. To reiterate, the roofbox to which I refer is 7 foot in length. It's not a job stopper but I need to be aware of it.

What length is the 450l? I'd it 7 ft?
-
Cool. Thanks so much for you going to the effort of helping me. I have been tempted by one of these lease deals on one of those Laurent yeti things. Thinking of selling the s4 which I own and having a few years in a yeti.

Its quite the beast....here in its current home... And 7ft long :( The question is, is that Audi roof longer than the Yeti? And if so, by much? Will I get away with that roofbox on a Yeti? It's essential that I have that one as I have used it for a long long while and the fishing gear fits in there nice and snug
-
Excellent response. I am just going to measure my roofbox now.....
-
I will try and get some size ideas from the roof as I fear a massive front overhang on it (from an aerodynamic perspective). I have owned this roofbox for well over 10 years and use it for when I go fishing. It has only ever been attached to VW or Audi estates (Passat, Golf and S4 Avant). The roofs (rooves?!) of Yetis look a lot smaller than the roof of an estate VW/Audi. Any thoughts on if that is accurate? I couldn't get the roof length of a yeti from the specifications listed on Skoda's site.

Hi all, I currently have an estate and use a roof box on it that it's reasonably long (over 6 ft as it takes fishing rods). Do you think that would be an issue with a the roof size on a Yeti? Would the overhang be too much? Many thanks
