Hi There, I'm wondering if anyone knew where to find a some-what options list that customers would have had at the dealership back in 2009 to buy a brand new FL octavia Thanks in advance

Hey Guys, I basically wanted to know what is the lowest springs you'd go on stock shocks? Looking around at new suspension but it's so much cheaper to get new springs. Would this be looked at as a big no no? I'm aware that it's a bit unethical to put springs on stock shocks but i need to get my baby a little closer to the ground

Hey Guys, It's so hard to find anything Skoda here in New Zealand! :( Took me years to get my Mk2! Never the less i got my hands on some 18" geminis off a Mk3 RS. Thoughts?

Removing Brake Lights FL Octy II
JesseLeet replied to JesseLeet's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
Awesome, thanks heaps! -
Hi Guys, Does anyone know how easy it to remove the plastic panel of the brake lights, i know the bulb holder is super easy to take out but what about the red plastic panel? The headlights are super straight forward so was hoping the tail lights would be too?

Hey! Just wanted to ask, do you still have your open air intake in the car? Is it worthwhile for the gorgeous turbo sound, does it lack in performance at all due to only being able to intake warm air once the engine heats up as opposed to cool wind air in the stock airbox?

Does anybody know if the Octy 2 Engine layout (2.0 TDI) shares the same layout with a VW brother or sister ? I know the 2011 GTI 2.0 TSI looks very very similar, but is it more or less the same ? Thanks

Does anyone know if the turbo in an octy II TDI has a silencer ring built in ?

Yes Superb, i've recently got it, it's super tidy and runs really well but nothing done to it at the moment, only a handsfree BT kit. Will make small changes (badges etc) first but looking at some new wheels to really start the project strong

Bolero Radio to Colombus Conversion?
JesseLeet replied to JesseLeet's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
Awesome! Thanks for the help, i'm sure it's a worthwhile conversion, i currently don't have bluetooth audio streaming so i feel for the $1000 nzd for a module it will be similar for a whole new radio! -
How easy is it to do? In regards to the fitting, does it require a fitting kit to sit in the existing console where the bolero sits? Has anyone done this to an octy 2?

Thanks guys, being over here in little New Zealand is expensive when it comes to original parts and also need something that doesn't cost a ton in shipping

Hey Guys, sorry if this is in the wrong place. I wanted to know if anybody has used those really cheap third party badges from sites like eBay, ali express etc Interested to know the overall quality for the very low price Thanks!
