Hia just after some advice plz. From cold my Fabia vrs makes a strange rubbing noise but goes after a few seconds. The cam belt was done 20k ago, it all looks ok with covers off, the inside of air con pump keeps turning if the air con is turned on or off. Is that normal cos with other cars the inside of pulley is still, until the air con is turned on then the middle turns with pully, any ideas, many thanks

hia I had same problem, had my vrs remapped to 170/300 and in 5th and 6th would slip , its on full boost at just over 2k, ive put in a sach flywheel and clutch its done 500miles since clutch and seems ok, very light clutch pedal too

cheers for all the info, yeah ile do flywheel aswell in nxt few months, yeah ile use a sach full set up too, I think its just starting to go so ile give it a easy life lol

yes when im in 6th and low down revs I floor it and sometimes it slips, but only done it twice, it spins the wheels in 2nd and 3rd if u floor it, its been mapped bout 6 months ago, made 180 bhp and 305lbs, its only done 80k, its never had a clutch thow,

why does the clutch only slip on my vrs in 6th and not all the time

I was thinking of luk clutch kit. Ile use the ramps in work to do I think. Yeah bet its a pain to do on floor. Did u change crank sensor too. Its behind flywheel. Stupied idea to put it there. It Sachs a good make?

His just after bit of advice. My clutch slipping in 5 and 6th.what make clutch is best and would it b better to put solid flywheel in. Also change crank sensor same time. Is it a easy job. Cheers

Are all the fabia vrs engines the same.

yes its a stage 1 revo map, but my egr its very dirty so I may clean it up, its only smokes when on full boost, other wise its fine

gotboost in bridgend, it was put on the rolling road aswell to make sure running ok,
