Good afternoon alll I’m thinking of buying the good wife Fabia (Petrol) as she has 2014 bluemotion diesel polo but the big question I’m asking is!!! Does the Fabia has the same running gear as the polo like clutch and all things like that ? I drive a mk2 superb myself and I really can’t fault it. But we’re having a few problems with the polo as we’ve only just found out it had new clutch plates fitted to the polo before it was even registered :( so by me getting this Fabia does it mean it’s practically the same as the polo ? Ps has it had many recalls ? Are you people really happy abit the Fabia ? Once again thank you for your reply’s kind regards bob.

I might consider a remap stage 1 but the increase on insurance is putting me off. Especially as I dont do a lot of miles. I drive 1900 miles a week in a truck and the thought of going out for a drive on the weekend is crazy lol

Good Evening all im thinking about replacing my air filter with a K&N one for my 2014 170 cr diesel has anybody changed there’s to a K&N are you glad you did and are they really worth the price. Does it actually make a difference to the car at all ? I’m just thinking in the long run it may pay for it self by not having to replace the filter every service I don’t do a great deal of mileage and i always use a good fuel usually esso or shell. Tia

Good evening all just a quick question I’ve tried searching for the answer through the search but unable to find anything. The question is why can’t my radio display the name of song and group all it says is the station name and it used to before :( I’ve looked into the settings for it but I can’t find it so I’m just looking for a few pointers ps it a 2014 superb tia bob.

Is there a website to find the actual colour of my car as I've just had a idiot bump my car luckily it's more of a skuff on the bumper and I need to sort this out and I want to buy a paint stick but I don't know the colour and the code I need because I don't want to buy the wrong one and have to post it back and all that thanks guys

What I have noticed on the superb there are no actual markings on the roof rail to suggest where to place the bars unlike my old Peugeot 406 estate where they had tiny ^^ indicators. So is there a measurement you should place the bars because I have a box and bars from my old Peugeot the bars do fit but like I said I'm unsure of where to place them

Aww gutted for you but was it stills under 3 years old your car ? And did you buy a replacement from them or a normal parts shop because they are very expensive even from a part shop

Thank you gents for the info I can vaguely remember someone said they put a sticker somewhere. And as for the battery the bloke said they have gel in them these days for the stop start cars and if left for a long period they will just die. I didn't mention to him tho that the dealership where i bought it from serviced the car in the January and I bought it in the may so it has been left standing around for a while. Once again thank you all. now tomorrow I'll be looking in the boot for that sticker

Good evening gents just thought I'd tell you about my 64plate 19k miles mk2 needing a new battery. The stop/start has never hardly worked,twice the battery has died whilst trying to start it in the morning on me so I thought while it's still under manafactures warranty I'll put it in and they did all the tests and said it needed a new battery and don't worry it's all covered by warranty i thought lovely. They did say it showed up lots of power related faults on their machine and now they have cleared them all for me. but when I took the car in I told the bloke i do!! not!!! want!!! the emissions!!!! recall fix done and he said fine no problem but please sign this form stating that, no problem i said and he even wrote it down on the job card and highlighted. Well having my car back it just doesn't seem right power wise, it's a 170 bhp cr diesel so what I'm trying to say is would they have done the recall behind my back ? Is there a way of knowing that if they done it or not ?.....

Had mine done the company sent the bloke to my house ( Coventry to Cardiff ) which I was able to keep a close eye on the procedure and FairPlay I'm happy with the smooth and glossy finish it gives not to mention the size on the beads and blading I had the full treatment done the wheels seats and screen

was they difficult to fit as I've just bought a full set from superskoda and I've noticed that there are no fittings in the bag for the fronts but there are two plugs things ( for drilled holes I think ) in the bag for the rear. Thanks bob.
