My local dealer say there is nothing they can do for my 64 plate VRS TDi which is also slow to start, Skoda UK have asked my to book it in with another dealer for a second opinion. The local dealer really doesn't like doing warranty work as I've found out previously... can anyone recommend a dealer in either Cumbria, Lancashire or Yorkshire?

Just heard from SUK today, and they have asked me to book it into a dealer for another opinion. I'm not confident this will be sorted anytime soon, but I'll post any further updates.

I've been having this issue on my 2014 VRS diesel also. The dealer (based in north Lancashire) tell me this is normal, and will not install any software update. I am currently awaiting a reply from Skoda UK.....
