  1. I have a 6P and android auto works fine, but every time I don't use the USB connection (short journies) my phone keeps asking to add a connection, share contacts and keeps trying to add it as a smart lock device. It's almost like it is forgetting the pairing/selection each time. Do you guys get this too? It was properly paired over Bluetooth and I have forgotten it and re-paired it, but still the same.
  2. I seem to remember reading something similar about this on a much earlier post and the consensus seemed to be that it was due to the ECU deciding that the engine had been run in and therefore unleashes the engines proper potential. Could be complete tosh... but sounds feasible.
  3. Waze is coming to AA very soon - LINK
  4. Blimey! 2 days! Just booked mine in for for an hour-long investigation next week. It's not a big issue, as the door closes OK, it just doesn't close first time every time and its getting on my t!ts. Hopefully it will be a simple fix.
  5. Thanks... Having done a hunt on Google (some results from this site ) it looks like that is the case. The engine did not get hot enough. Longer run tomorrow, will see what happens.
  6. The last two trips I have taken my new 190 DSG estate have been short (10 and 4 mile) runs and both times when I came back the cooling fan was really going for it and continued to run for a good 3 or 4 minutes after engine off. I don't recall this happening on a couple of longer trips I did previously. It has not got any warmer weather wise, so I was wondering if this could be indicative of a cooling issue or is the fan just a little over eager? Also, does anyone have any idea how easy it is to get the driver's door adjusted, mine doesn't fully close as easily as it should... Any advice appreciated. Cheers
  7. I had issues with android auto, but following an older post on this forum, I discovered that the Columbus unit was set to manual time setting, it needs to be GPS updated. I don't know why, but after I switched to GPS it worked. Have you checked if there is an update to android auto on your phone?
  8. My brother in law has the quartz, it is also really nice, but was too similar to the color of my old SMax.
  9. Its a business grey 190 auto SE L - loving it so far. Already turned a few heads and been told to watch for people braking hard on the motorway behind us when they think we're an unmarked police car . I think I'm going to enjoy this car and this forum has already helped me twice - first getting Android Auto to work (time-sync issue) and pointing me at SuperSkoda - mats, tunnel cover and boot liner out for delivery
  10. I have finally joined this forum after lurking for a few months... new Superb is imminent. I found some really good headrest-mounted tablet holders in Halfords the other day for a tenner. Pink and blue available. Can't see them online though.
