Hi everyone, I have a Skoda Octavia MKIII VRS Wagon 2016 with a water burbling sound coming from behind the dash after having driven approx. 20-30 minutes of daily driving, at operating temps, and then turning the engine off (sometimes occurs with engine start stop enabled). Temps and dash does not report any errors. Scanned with OBD11 and the only errors that do show are: Front air door distribution motor B109154 and... Fresh air, recirculation, flow flap motor B108B71 But I don't believe its related at this stage (happy to be proven wrong). I have put up a video with the sound on YouTube. The sound appears around the 10-13 second mark in the video. Any help would be appreciated. TIA.

Would been handy if anyone has a video how to with all the part numbers including any coding etc :-)

Thanks Frallan. I was thinking about painting them but having some shrink tube of some sort would probably do the trick (maybe black to blend them in a bit). Sweden - that's a bit of a hike from Australia! :-) Thanks for the tip!

Thanks guys for your replies. I'm going to order a set of springs and give it a go. Its been a while since I posted this but I am going to make a more concerted effort to post more often. I'll report back once I've got them installed and share it for all to see.

Hey guys, I'm taking inspiration from the post in the MK2 section for the automatic boot lid using springs (link below). http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/164486-automatic-boot-completed/ I've asked around the traps and I haven't found anything concrete that will suite my MK3 as nobody knows what size or type of springs I need and where to buy them from. Sorry if it has been asked already but I'd thought I'd give it a try.

Hi everyone, I joined this formum as its the closest thing to a dedicated Skoda forum here in Australia and there isn't really thing like it here in Victoria (correct me if I am wrong!) Anyway, I got my Skoda Octavia RS in March and I just love it to bits. Its the bet car I've owned and loving every second driving it (I had a Suzuki Swift so I guess I am easily pleased lol) Is there any memeber from around Melbourne that drive RS's?
