It really depends were you are, what are the conditions and how you drive but for everyday driving I would recommend studless tyres. I have studded tyres but I have to be able to get to my destination (sometimes in a hurry) in every possible weather.

I've said this before: I prefer manual handbrake, one can't do a handbrake turn with an electronic handbrake.

Yes it is, I did it. It is a bit tight fit but there is enough space for Rainbow Germanium GL-T26.

I did that same mod to my vRS two years ago. Just remember to check the filter box periodically, dirt gets there much easier now. There's a pipe at the bottom of the filter box and mine got blocked from dirt. I had to remove the box and clean it thoroughly.

I would try to reset it by changing driving mode and left side/right side traffic settings. And, of course, checking with VCDS.

There is no sensor for a passenger (weight sensor) in rear seats, only sensors for seat buckles.

If you have the Skoda Connect I guess you have a FaceLift version. I'm not sure if your Webasto can be connected to the Skoda app but there are other remote controllers out there if it can't be done. Something like this: https://www.remuc.fi/site/remuc/en/

I do have heated screen and Webasto as a part of my Winter pack but I still keep my "Fiskars SnowXpert snowbrush and ice scraper" with me.

Shouldn't be a problem, I had -34°C diesel in the tank on my Seat Cordoba TDI and the car outside temperature meter showed -35°C. 2 hours of warming with a block heater before start and I drove a 100km journey without any engine/diesel problems. Door locks froze up during the drive so I couldn't get out of the car except through the trunk but ½ hour warming sorted out that too... Gearbox uses small gears for 10-15km before it starts to warm up, then it's ok. On a very cold morning at -38°C my 4x4 Subaru locked the wheels just by pressing the clutch without touching the brake pedal, the oil in the gearbox was so cold that it was almost solid.

Interesting. So they claim that with the "angled tool" there is enough space to take out the filter and put a new one back? And how they clean the filter surroundings? Maybe they have a angled washing system and a angled camera too... I don't think I would accept that unless Skoda is saying that this is a valid method.

It is a bit different when there is -32°C outside. It's not just the freezing, the moisture from exhale is also significant. However, I use Webasto for this purpose. I don't leave the car running unattended.

You do know that it has a water-intercooler integrated to the inlet manifold, don't you? So with a front mount intercooler you will need a custom inlet manifold and quite a lot of work with cooling pipes and EGR valve.

It was -18°C for a couple of days but it is now a bit warmer so I decided to wash the car.
