Hello, so the windows on my 2006 Fabia vrs have never worked since I bought it, I have done a little investigating today, with my multimeter, there is power at the fuses, power at the switch, and power to the module/motor so I guess I need a new module/motor. Does anyone have a spare? Part number is 6Y2959802 400879F

We haven't done the coolant sensor yet, will let you know how the injector goes, when I get it in a couple of days time.

038130073ba managed to get this part number and typed it in to ebay and have bought one for £50!! I hope this is right. I am not certain the garage is right though... in the injector being at fault, the symptoms are difficult to start when cold, and lumpy idol when cold, but when it is driving and up to temperature it runs like a dream. I thought at first the slow cold start was down to an air leak in the fuel system somewhere, so changed fuel filter all fuel lines and clips, to no success, then I changed the injector wiring harness to no success, and this is the next thing to try...

Hi all, ok so the car is a 56 plate registered Feb 2007 fabia vrs 1.9pd I have changed the injector wiring loom, to no avail....

So the garage have told me that one of my injectors isnt working properly, and need a new one, which they quoted around £600 for.... So I thought I would get a second hand one off ebay, but are there different ones? I know my cars engine code is BLT? ANY HELP APPRECIATED

Yes I can definatley here the fuel pump on turning the ignition. I did the ignition on and off test for about 20 turns, and I think it did reduce the time slightly, but I could just be imaging it.

It is trying to start, It first happened when I swapped the fuel pumps over, because I had a squeak and thought it was the fuel pump failing, however it did it that once and then didn't do it for a couple of months, and then it has been doing it more and more often, and now every day. I swapped the fuel pump back to the original one, incase the second hand ebay pump wasn't making pressure, but no change! May be the secondhand pump had some dirt in it and has got in to the fuel system?

Hello all, I am completely new to this forum but am.hoping someone may be able to help with my cold start problem. Basically if I leave the car over night it takes ages to crank over and start, I pump the accelerator peddle, after a while the oil light will flash on and eventually it will start, once it starts it runs a little rough untill up to temperature, however once it has started for the first time, it will start perfectly until left over night. I had it put on a diagnostic machine and it came back with fault code p0302 (misfire cilinder 2) so after looking on this forum I replaced the injector wiring loom, it made no difference, I have also changed the fuel filter and all of the fuel hose and clips in case there was an air leak! I am now at a loss, it was suggested that it may be the injector seals, however I was also told if this was the case there would be oil in the fuel filter which there isn't. ....... Help...
