  1. fabia vrs 05 plate 22,000 miles hi guys long time no post. i have a strange steering wheel wobble at slow speeds when returning back to straight ahead ,i have had wheels balanced and tracking checked.the only thing we did find was that when the car was jacked up on the ramp and turned the front wheels while in neutral, we noticed that they turned in the same direction as thou the car has limited slip diff ,as i thought wheels turned in the opposite direction does that sound right ?. any ideas? other than this the car is great. thanks mark

  8. well i had a 1.7 puma 00 plate 35000 miles for about 18 months at first i loved it ,thought it was quick etc but after a while i began to get fed up with the driving position door pillar was always causing a blind spot then the rear view mirror would get in your line of sight at roundabouts . so i took a vrs for a test drive and it blew me away i would 0 - 60 was amazing so from personal experience vrs would leave a puma standing although its a better looking car
  9. have fun buddy i have had the same probs as well def a skoda fobia thing

  17. replaced rears at 7000 miles due to rust which had caused deep grooves i think fronts OK all under warranty
  18. you are not the only one had my vrs 2 months before i checked tyres all at 25 psi now set to 33 psi as a compromise as i feel 36 is too much but what a difference
  19. thanks i should have also stated that both discs had grooves scored into them as well as if the pads had i stone or something embedded in to them
  20. had my 05 fabia vrs 7000 miles, now for 2 months and over the last couple of weeks i noticed that the rear brakes at started to make a grating noise so decided to go to my local dealer chapmans of Pickering this morning thinking the worst (cost wise) they replaced rear discs and pads under warranty as car was under 12000 miles so as this been a common problem with the vrs? anyway thanks to chapmans:)
  21. thanks i will give it ago in morn
