Dealer couldn't find a fault with the speakers (and confirmed that the Canton grills next to the door release are just for show) but they also informed me that each source has it's own individual sound settings, I thought that this would set for all sources so I will have another play around this weekend.

Hi All, Just wondering if anybody has managed to get the handle creaks fixed under warranty? Unfortunately all 4 of my door handles do this. I have it booked into the dealer tomorrow so I'm hoping they can sort it out. Thanks, Ben

Thank you for the replies. Yeah have played around with the equaliser settings, even going from -9 to +9 for the treble and mids doesn't seem to make a huge difference, you can definitely hear a change but not as drastic as I would have expected. Thank you, very good to know. I will still get them to take a look We have everything wrapped up into a couple of packs here, I have gone Tech and Luxury to bring it close to the spec of my old Superb but area view is a new thing for. Definitely takes some getting used to. The 9.2" Columbus is a huge step up from the 8" on the superb. Will take a look around. Thank you!

Hi All, Have just got into a new Kodiaq after a couple of years in a MK3 Superb. I am loving this car however I have a small issue. I'm fairly underwhelmed by the Canton system, it's much worse than the Canton system I had in my Superb and I think that is possibly due to the fact that the two speakers on the front doors labelled "Canton" next to door release aren't functioning at all. Can I please confirm with anybody else who has a Canton system whether or not sound is easy to hear out of these speakers? I can hear highs out of the speakers embedded into the window sills near the side mirrors but nothing out of the Cantons. I'm suspecting an amp issue given that they are both not working. I have emailed the dealer and will hopefully get it looked at next week. Cheers, Ben

Good to hear, that's not much of a wait. My dealer told me that I need a new part but I've been told it will take 3-4 weeks :( They didn't want to touch the chrome any more in case they damaged something so I'm going to have a piece hanging out until the new part comes.

How did you go? Mine booked in tomorrow, I'm going to leave it with them for the day. Hopefully doesn't take any longer.

I have the exact same issue with my Estate. Contacted the dealer, hopefully get it back to them soon so they can sort it out. Minor annoyance.

Hi All, I've just taken delivery of my new 162 Estate (2 days ago) which I love but this morning I have experienced the mysterious boot opening issue. I have gone into the garage and noticed that the boot was open. Thankfully I had set the limit on this just yesterday otherwise it would have potentially left a nice dent in the car. Did anybody get to the bottom of this? I will let the dealer know but would be good if I could provide them with a place to start looking. Thanks, Ben

Hi All, About to step into a new Superb in the next few days, I am getting out of a Touareg which has been a great car but looking for something smaller, I also can't go past the features and value for money that the new Superb brings.
