  1. Bad news, my light has come back on again! I did have the boot open for a long time but as I have LED's in the boot and interior lights there shouldn't be that much of a drain and they turn themselves off after a while! Checked belt tension and alternator output and all appear ok. Will now start to check all of the earth points I can find, ref the above post.
  2. Quite right I should have checked here first for info. Just bought one from my local dealer who've charged me £11.68 inc tax but this one has three pegs on the back not two as my front badge and the superskoda.com badge have! Dealer assures me it's correct as he's fitted it to his brothers Skoda but so far I'm not convinced. If two of the pegs are in the right place I'll just cut the third one off. and yes I could cut all three off if desperate. I'm also looking to change my wheel centres for the later style, superskoda.com have four for £15.46 whereas the dealer is quoting me £8.63 for one. So might just take a chance on the cheaper option.
  3. Hi, I have exactly the same fault on my Superb SE Plus Mk2 2013 2.0 TDI DSG estate. Checked all bulbs and all ok. Did change one tail light that had discoloured but still working. After checking the left indicator warning light at night, I did see that it faded out to off when I drove for a long distance so assumed it to be battery related. Turned off when the battery recharged! Got my tame battery supplier to check my original battery who said it was fine but did seem to be down slightly on stated amp rating, so got a new battery anyway and fitted it. And behold, no warning light fault. However after a few weeks of all lights, heater, rear screen demist and what not being used on way to work and then back again (Oct, Nov, Dec etc) in stop start traffic the warning light returned. Stopped displaying again in Feb when the electrics weren't being beaten to death in slow traffic. It's now May and the warning light has still not returned. Looks like it's a low power warning system built into the vehicle that no ones been told about! I'm going to check the tension of the drive belt just in case and the output of the alternator. If it happens again this winter I'm going to find the biggest rated battery that will fit and try that.
  4. Check this web site for the badges you need http://www.superskoda.com/skoda-merchandise/ new style badges for wheels and hood but to fit older vehicles. I've used them several times for LED interior lights, door wind deflectors and new type boot badge. Received all items very quickly and all fit first time, only down side is led lights don't come with instructions on how to remove the old lamps or fit new. Not always as straight forward as they appear!
  5. If any one checks this post after April 2016, go to http://www.superskoda.com/skoda-merchandise/ these guys do the later badges to fit the early vehicles. I've ordered and received one large badge and will update when I get around to removing & replacing it.
  6. Hi all I'm new here but thought I'd chip in, I owned a Ford Granada Scorpio 2.8i Ghia X rear wheel drive back in 1986 that had true rear air suspension and springs as standard and a rear anti roll bar. Air compressor was mounted behind the left headlamp feeding to a load sensing valve mounted at the rear axle, then split to both air shocks. As soon as the engine was running it worked out if the vehicle was level depending on boot load, and either raised or lowered the suspension. Drove and handled like a dream and was even better when I fitted 2.9 Cosworth ARB,s and bushes at both ends. Haven't tweaked the Skoda yet only LED interior lights, but time might change that!
  7. Hi all, bought a Skoda Superb SE Plus DSG 2.0 TDI Estate (just as well they don't put That on the back!) in 2014 and still love it.
