Hi thanks for the swift reply. I am currently level 2 training in mechanics but dont know great deal about these engines. So i would rather ask experts such as yourself for advice. I think i may smoke check to see if there are any signs of visable leaks. Its does ever so slightly jib on tick over to but its not that noticeablw. I love the car so wish to csrry on maintaining it.

Hi guys new to this.. Purchased an octavia vrs around a month ago off a vag specialist. Its been pretty well maintained and is on 149k in which i have just had the cambelt done. Basically the whole car is standard bar the remap.. I have noticed a slight jib with the acceleration when changing gears.. Would this be down to having a standard recirc valve on? And any tips on other recommended parts to change. Regards Darren
