  1. I live in Milton Keynes, land of short journeys and roundabouts. 45mpg is good trust me [emoji23] Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  2. After 500 miles I can say I'm glad I went for the 190. It definitely pulls better. Fuel economy is what I expected. Low 40s but this is still my first tank of diesel so I am expecting improvement. If I can average 45mpg I'll be happy. Engine actually doesn't sound that bad from inside the cabin, it's very well insulated. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  3. These should be a polished, chemically brightened and anodised extrusion. When you anodise over a polished surface you put create a thinner layer of oxidation on the surface to keep the finish bright. If not enough anodic film is created then the surface could start to corrode. Especially if they come into contact with low or high PH fluids. If you get your car washed at a hand car wash, it's likely that they have been exposed to fairly corrosive cleaners. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  4. Having done only 100 miles in my 190 Estate I think that the 150 would be more than adequate. While I would say the 190 definitely has a bit more in gear shove, I'm not sure it's enough to warrant the diminished fuel efficiency. One thing I have noticed is, you don't feel like your travelling as fast as you actually are. Caught me out at a roundabout last night. Brakes work well which is pleasing. 5. I've just picked up a 190 L&K today. It's early days but it pulls nicely without seeming fast. I think it will depend on your driving style. It's no rocket but it'll sit at naughty speeds without any hassle. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  6. I've only used it with android auto as that does everything I want. Mirror link is primarily for phones not running Android or iOS. It's far more basic than Android Auto. If I were buying a phone purely for use with Android Auto I'd got for a Nexus. The latest one is also a fairly good phone. I'm happy to take the risk with my S6 edge. If it takes a few times to connect I can live with that as I like the phones other features. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  7. The more stock the operating system is the better. Any Nexus phone or possibly a newer Motorola. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S6 edge with android auto and it works fine but can take a couple of attempts to connect to sometimes. Hope this helps. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  8. I have no idea what mine will be, I'm leaving it as a surprise. I'm. Not fussed either way but I would like the TV just for showing off. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  9. I have this issue on my Scirocco. I totally had to change my driving style to suit but it does take you by surprise now and then. Even if you then plant your right foot it can just spin the the fronts up on a FWD car. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  10. Thanks, I'll have a fiddle with mine tomorrow when I pick it up and then promptly never use it again. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  11. Out of curiosity, how is the TV? Does it have a good picture or is the screen not really a high enough resolution? Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  12. My current Sirocco has this same engine and it pulls like a train. I'm not sure how much lighter it is than a Superb. It's mated to the DSG too. I pick my Superb tomorrow so I'll soon notice as difference if there is one. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  13. Pick mine up tomorrow at 15.30. I wot get much sleep tonight. Yes I'm that sad. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  14. I've been on this scheme. The cars have to be looked after as they are rigorously inspected on return. All cars must be returned with at least 4mm of treat left on each tire. Every stone chip is repaired and paid for by the employee that has used the car. Same goes for wheels and interior. If you are hard on the car you end up with a hefty bill and the car is rectified before being released into the dealer network. Many of these cars do very few miles. If I was looking for a second hand car this would be the kind of car I would be looking for. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  15. I'm a huge fan of Bridgestone Potenzas, they aren't cheap and they are very soft but grip is excellent. I've just never managed to get more than 10,000 miles out of a set though. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
