Hi everyone! I want to share with you my "rapid experience". It s over 2 years now and I m very very pleased overall. Some pictures from one and a half years ago: This is how my rapid used to look like. Except the roof. It came as raceblue, but I wrapped it into black glossy it was the first thing I did right after purchase. I didn t like the height of suspension. I mean it s ridiculous, isn t it so? and the car was quite unstable over 75mph especially with smaller r15 tires(during the winter season). This is how it looks nowdays: List of mods: Front spoiler / black magic, by Milotec Front grid ornamental strip / black magic, by Skoda R17 savio / plasti dipped into standard black, by me Rear diffuser / black magic, by Skoda Rear boot strip / black magic, by Skoda Replaced stock suspension, using ST lowering susp. -30/30mm Replaced front shock absorbers, using 2015 Seat Ibiza TDI FR Replaced rear shock absorbers, using 1st gen. Octavia RS I m quite happy with the looks now I just can t decide what kind of side sills should I buy. Also the car handles way better. It feels like a sporty-comfort car. I m actually suprised because I thought that I ll loose comfort. Fuel economy is great as always. No problems with the engine or whatsoever. Saw the new facelifted Rapid pics. I m not really impressed by LED headlights and some minor changes. So I guess I ll use this car for at least another good 2-3 year. My only problem with the car is the noise comming from the front windows. It s a little bit noisy for my taste. I was thinking about deflectors maybe? I never had any installed on a car so I m not sure if they would actually help. Oh and the handbrakes. It is in a state like a 15 year old car. I m worried about it. Anyone else having the same issue? Any mods to prevent damage?

Hi! Can someone help me with this baby? I need the OEM code/number. I can t seem to find it. Not even at skoda.eshop. I own a savio matte black one r17, but man I want this one it would fit much better. I understand it s for monte carlo pack. But I don t believe you can t order one directly.

Thank you. :clap: Right... Did some research I think the front chassis is the same as ibiza or polo. not sure about the fabia tho. So you have Ibiza 2.0tdi fr set and its working well... I wonder if there is any difference between 1.4tsi FR and 2.0tdi FR shocks. Now all I need is some kind of production code/number to find one. :notme:

Hey Copey! I would like to ask a question as you seem to have some experience now in lowering Rapids I own a rapid 2015 1.6tdi 77kw. And... I ve installed these lowering spings: https://www.awesomegti.com/default-category/st-suspension-lowering-springs-skoda-rapid-nh/ My problem is the front of the car is just bouncing like hell when someone huge sits in my car(like 90kg guy). I think the problem is that the front is really heavy. I mean 1.6tdi is the heaviest. And the stock shock absorbers are not working really well with the lowering springs. I red your topic and If I m not mistaken I can fit Fabia 2 RS or Ibiza, Polo GTI shock absorbers into my lowered rapid? Will they fit? and will it reduce my problem? Hi! sorry for the late reply. The car came stock with the plastic thingy unpainted. This one is actually from the monte-carlo kit, with black magic paint.
