Thank you, how about alternator, distributor, alarm, battery? I don't think the fabia estate got any 'computer' to cover. Have found a good article to share here: https://www.cars.com/articles/are-there-any-mechanical-benefits-to-cleaning-an-engine-1420681075630/ Still will like to clean it at least every 3 months.

Thanks all but what electric bits should I cover for extra protection?

Thanks TMB but I got a product call Elbow Grease not grease elbow :( it's good to know any way. Have you tried T-Cut? today I tried in a small hidden area and doesn't look that abrasive, I'm thinking to do on other parts when get more time to wash, wax etc. but will like to know more before I damage the paint. Sorry if taking over your post crazybeeliuzhe.

Hi guys, first post here. My wife is a happy owner of a 2008 fabia estate but we bought it with many small superficial scratches arround door handles, so following Which magazine I bought T-CUT but I'm worry since I have read few people advising not to use it. my questions are: will T-cut damage or blur the paint? will oxidise? will I have to wax reguraly to keep away the haze or oxidation?(as mentioned on ChipsAway website) also is it better to mixed with polish http://forums.hexus.net/automotive/183873-would-i-use-t-cut-my-car-remove-area-light-scratches.html or grease elbow? which adviced to use grease elbow before washing the car. will appreciate any comment.
